I have been to a lot of beautiful locations around the world over the years, including some of the big comercial cities and islands, but have never revisited any of them, apart from the 'glorious Ibiza'. It is an underrated and in many cases an 'overexposed' island due to its commercial and clubbing aspects. (although I have also previously enjoyed this aspect also of the island too). I got married there in the wonderful, scenic Hacienda Na Xamena in 2010. Putting this to one side, it is the most beautiful, magical, 'soul awakening and chilled places that I have ever visited and continue to visit over the past 22 years. I feel that I have grown with it...seeing it before the motorways with just dirt roads, super marinas, beach walkways, and Manumission was the main superclub and cafe del mar was the place to sit on the rock to see the sunset. It is great to see the islands government are putting the tourists money back into the island and that it will continue to the islands growth and improvements, also from a nature preservation point of view. I will continue to visit this wonderful place with the sometimes sad but also happy memories it hold for me. Just a wonderful place.
There is 2 opposite vibes and social groups of Ibiza island... San Antonio the 'Ibiza virgin' crowd of the island, (who never venture outside of San Ant) and then there is Ibiza Town, with a more sophisticated, grown and chilled side, with the better restaurants and bars etc. Originally, I also was one of the San Ant set back in 98!', and thought that San Ant 'was' Ibiza!. I used to lay on the rocky beach (timestamp 31.32) from sunrise till sunset, it was were all the locals chilled out, quite hidden then,(just few kl outside San Ant) and a local budist guy used to sleep overnight in a large hole in the rock there, back in the day Lucky now grown, and familiar with the whole island, I am glad that the majority of the San Ant crowd also think what I thought back in the day,.... and are not aware of the glorious Ibiza Town and it's cool vibe.

Stunning footage, and I've only got through half a dozen minutes so far. This is a place that I have never wanted to visit (even a few decades ago as a kid) until recently, and am now going at the end of May. I have got to say I am definitely looking forward to seeing Ibiza.
