I love this. The sportsmanship between you guys, and the skill and finesse you display there. I'm 63, I've been training for 2 years, I'd love to compete in this type of environment and come as close to that level of skill as possible for me at some point. Congrats on the win.
Hey Devone - great work! I completed last July @ the Vegas convention center. This venue looks a bit different. I'll look for you at the upcoming events. Your opponent in this bout had decent pressure, and you responded with some nice counters and check hooks!
Congratulations to all you guys still boxing in your 50s and 60s. I am the only 50 - 60-year-old who has the guts to box and train with the under-50 guys (usually under 35).
Really want to get started boxing in Vegas. Not sure where to start, train, compete. Theres a lot of boxing fitness around where i live, and a couple real boxing gyms, where people said theyve started amateur boxing. Any recommendations in-city for gyms, classes/coaches, and how to get yourself started in amateur matches? This match is a big inspiration for me, i really wanna be in that ring with you guys. Great fight, great show, great people.
Nice work and congrats! *I used to box out of Joe Fraziers Gym in Philly up until it closed. I'm very interested in competing still. Where do I find info on tournaments? Can you please send me a website? Thank you!!
Yes I won nationals in the masters I had like 3 bouts after this one or maybe even 4 keep my channel out you’ll see all my fights also yes I may do a few more amateur boxing matches but I would like to make my pro debut this year at some point
@@trackstarmusic Really?! That's good to hear! I have a feeling you've been though alot and now you want to get out there and show the world what you can do in more than just boxing. Am I close? How old are you? What weight class in pros will you want to fight? It's hard to tell in videos but I'm guessing super middleweight?
Hey bro, this is amazing! I need your advice please. Im 46, never boxed before, but I love the sport since I was a kid. At 46, I feel young and with energy. Do you think I can make it at my age with no experience at all?? What do you recommend to me? I want to try, I feel I have the heart to try.
I’m almost 52 and training hard. I’m 5’9’ and 200lbs. Fighting pretty good but my height/weight don’t match up well. Hard to jab against 6’4”. Even at 175 I will be small but I feel like I gotta get it on. @@trackstarmusic
@trackstarmusic well best of luck to you, I just remember when I had my amateur fights the Ref telling us not to hold the opponents head down but hey if you can do it go for it I guess.

This was 156lb masters boxing
Age and weight please? I’m guessing fairly light based on ref and skill level. Guys near my weight look too easy. (200 lbs)

A real warrior
You were the better boxer but man honestly you were holding and pushing the guy in the black trucks head down thats kind of illegal.
Nothing I did was illegal pushing and holding is all apart of boxing all the greats use different tricks and tactics to win a match
