I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. In dance, my forte are contemporary and musicals and have done most of my performances in theatre. Although my channel is mostly known for dance analysis, I am currently inactive in the dance community.

it's bothering me that this is a choreo to show off hairography and they put both yeji and ryujin in extra tight hairstyles. at least they let ryujin's hair down in some perfomances, but yeji... poor girl 💀💀
I know right! Also because of that Yeji's hair keeps on slapping her face and her eyes.

funfact: the reason behind why they style the title like this 마.피.아. (MA.PI.A.) is because they put acrostic poem in the song, on the bridge part (3:06) ryujin is the one saying the ma, pi, a and then lia is the one reciting the acrostic poem :>
that's one of the reasons why the bridge is my faveee 😩💜 (other reason is she's my bias & her vocals is on point!!!)

What? No, actually chaeryeong's the one who's saying MA.FI.A part not ryujin, you can see it through their fancams too. Also if you listen to it, it's clearly chaeryeong's voice (though ryu is my bias but I can tell it's chaeryeong's line), it's just ryu is the one executing the choreo in that part which is needed so she and yeji would go in perfect place/position at the same time.

I actually tried doing the low-squat-spread thingy and OMG my knees feel as if they are bout to pop out lol anyway the choreography is amazing... Idk why Korean netizen didn't really like the song (from what I read on9) but me as an international fan feels otherwise? The song's catchy and showcases different sides of every member too! Plus we get to listen to them rap more ✨👏🏼

I wish after Lia’s bridge they do a dance break and they end the dance break with the psycho laugh then proceed to the last chorus. We would get a bridge of Lia AND a dance break.
