The movie didn't do well in theaters but it earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay and later found a cult following. The producers of this commercial probably heard the song because of the movie. And then the song was included in the Far Cry 4 videogame, possibly because those producers saw this commercial.

this part of the song is fantastic! the drums the horns the guitar, all are great! i wish i could hear the whole song. as far as it being in a beer commercial and explaining something about the beer, i dont get it. but hey, i love it!
