Banana leaves and trees that are finished could be collected to feed the pigs. They are fillers with little benefits. Cassava leaves are a good source of protein for the pigs. This could help cut down on the cost of feeding them.
From weaning stage we mix the creep feed with the sow and weaner to wean off the piglets from the creep feed gradually from 2-3 months, then from 3 months to finish we use our self formulated sow and weaner.
She has it all well planned, but she is not neat in as far as infrastructure is concerned. I also love to see clean environments and pigs. I know that doesn't affect earnings, but I guess you know what I am talking about. There is just something good about having beautiful looking sites.
Sow abd weaner cannot be fed to pigs of all ages. We need at least 7 different feeds for pigs CREEP, WEANER , GROWER , (gilts, shoats, barrows) FINISHER, GESTATOR, LACTATOR, TRANSITION and FLUSH.

She needs help in 6 months the pigs should be 100 kg or more.

70kgs-80kgs in 6.5 months......Is that farmer making any reseasonable gains
Yes
Selling direct to butchery @400 that would be roughly 30k. It has only costed 15k
@kelvinmwenda2135 you seem to forget thats live weight and not carcass weight...No butchery buys live weight at ksh. 400
In the video she made mention of carcass weight. Go check again.
