+Tamil Selvan try to flash using adb sideload. With the zip file downloaded. Go to recovery u should have option for adb.
tried using adb sideload stryflex.zip
it shows total xfer:0.0x
in my mobile it shows unknown fs-type f2fs, can't load volume/misc

I followed all your commands. The fastboot flash recovery recovery.img was the one that gave my the error. I can't seem to get rid of twrp, I have a zte axon 7

To be honest, I'm not sure. I downloaded the full system image of the current version of android I'm on, copy the recovery.img to fastboot. Tried to Google zte axon 7 stock recovery, no one's uploaded it. For context, I'm currently one ota build behind so I tried to flash the recovery of the build I'm on as well as the latest, got fail both times

+Amit Raula it's same procedure..just download the latest twrp from twrp website and use the same commmand. It will replace the stock recovery image.
