Bishamon is one of those characters that to me feels like he can have a complete story on his own, much like the other Darkstalkers, albeit in a more horror oriented period piece centered one.
My initial thoughts on Bishamon were just “oh cool, big samurai with a sword, just a slot filler obviously” This series is exceptional, it’s on of the few fighting games where all the characters could have their own games/books/movies, they’re all so well written.
This guy was my main back in the day with Rikuo as my 2nd. Loads of stuff i had no idea about but that said, i was playing it in 1997 as a 15 year old!
While all other Darkstalkers are classified in the vs screen as "vampire," "ghoul", "werewolf", etc. Bishamon is just "Samurai"? Why not simply "ghost" if we go by monster classification?
I keep getting Silver Samurai vibes, when I first saw this character, because its time period of creation was shortly after X-Men Children of the Atom. But Bishamon is completely different from Silver Samurai in nature, yet similar in some ways.
you know considering how surprisingly connected capcom's series are i could actually see the onimusha(possibly how he first got into contact with fortibras and the genma.) or sengoku basara version of nobunaga oda being a previous owner of hannya before bishamon possessed it
I would love to see Q-Bee and or Jedah be a focus. I think one of the highlights of Jedah's would be his crazy move where he pumps blood into the opponent till some part of them explodes, like for Lilith it's her breast and Zabel's ass literally explodes.

Probably my favorite character in the entire series. His dynamic with his wife and inner struggle are truly enduring.

Smoothest character To play in a fight game... even hwarang could have weird control schemes, but bishamon was a straight out BEAST!
