Very cool and appropriate! We just harvested some winter wheat, an heirloom variety called Turkey Red with a walk behind cycle bar mower and shocked it. Wish we could whip up such a gadget for the threshing! We did convert a chicken plucker to a bean thresher and that worked pretty well but not sure it will work on wheat.... Anyway, Good job and thanks for posting. !

You will need a MAGNET to capture all of the wire brush bristles that WILL come out of the cheap brushes.
Yeah, I agree, but this is such a small amount that I am able to visually inspect the grain pretty well.
