While it seems like we've already gotten everything and more as far as F50 options go, Adidas is throwing another curve ball and introducing yet another variation! In today's video we take a closer look at the new Adidas F50+, the $300, tech focused, "extreme" variation of the latest F50! It introduces not only a more responsive soleplate, but also a unique elevated heel with Lightstrike Pro foam inserts! There's no doubt the look and tech is crazy, but does it actually benefit the feel and performance? We discuss all of this and more, as we determine whether or not the F50+ is truly worth the extra money over the already great F50 Elite.

0:40 Lightstrike Pro isn't EVA but a TPE(E) foam, I hate myself for knowing that.
As a runner, I know way too much about midsole foams 😅
Also Lightstrike pro will eventually be changed to supercritical PEBA like in the Adios Pro Evo 1.
For that price i would expect laces at least. They do look stunning though
I don't even play football anymore but always watch these videos. Nice to see what kind of boots are coming out and SR4U is GOATed.
For those not used to Lightstrike Pro, it is one of my favorite midsole foams as a marathon runner. It is not as light and bouncy as ZoomX, but it has its own unique properties, where it’s a bit denser but has a stronger rebound, and excellent resiliency and durability. It actually does seem to be a great comparison to the Air Zoom in the Mercurials.
This cleat/boot definitely seems to be an experimental model, much like the Prime X shoe in the adidas running shoe segment where it does unique things that may or may not make it into future models.
Great review. Lighter! Super surprising adi managed to do that with the added foam pods. 👏🏼👏🏼 Hope to see a laced version in the future! Maybe even use foam pods on the Preds? (If they make a difference) but sounds like they don’t!
i have the regular and the plus model and i absolutely love the plus. my feet hurt a little bit because it so tight at first but they have broken in really nice and I'm not a lace less guy. The regular are cool but i really enjoy the lite strike in the plus, i feel like i get some energy return in 11v11
What is better? The F50+ or the F50 elite with laces.
In need of another tier list
Hey Josh can you review the Adidas Bugatti boots?! I have a pair luckily and would love to see someone review em!
Do you realise how hard they were to get lol, this almost feels like a flex more than being curious plus why would you need a review when you already have a pair lol
@@BourneIdentity45 My older brother does crypto stuff & got a pair for us. He never wants to wear them & I understand that so it would be cool to see Josh explain how they perform etc if possible. Not trying to "flex" or anything brother that'd be weird, they're just boots at the end of the day haha.
@@rav2791are u dumb? its the same performance with any other crazyfast, just different colors, use your brain and go watch crazyfast reviews
What is a better option as far as laceless boots go? F50 League/Elite LL or the Predator Elite LL? Or any other recommendations?
I wouldn’t put the Leagues in the same category as the Elite models. If the budget allows for it, the Elites are definitely better. F50 and Pred are both great. It really comes down to what type of fit and feel that you’re looking for, because they’re very different
I was hoping you have the Vapor 16s by now Joseah bro!
He's in Canada, his parcel likely got lost in a snowstorm
@@RegenTonnenEnte 😁
Is it known if any pros will be wearing a variant with the foam? I imagine it’d be a custom pair with laces and/or sg studs.
Yeh keen to see as well if any pros will use these or something similar with lightstrike pro
When is the new adidas gloro 2 review coming
Hi Jeshiaia first comment here
Are they going to make a version with laces? AG? etc?
I doubt we’ll see a laced version unfortunately. I also wouldn’t be surprised if F50+ ends up being FG only. We’ll see what happens though
These actually seem to be F50s, and the messi model (althought i wish we could get regular colorways in hybridtouch, no messi branding)
So the adidas + boots are higher than the elites ?
More expensive, yes. Better, not necessarily. This is an addition to the existing top-end F50 options
Hello SR4U
Rather have the Messi version with hybrid touch
When you think they can not surprise you... then Adidas comes knocking on the door
Impressive that they are somehow lighter than the regular version.
Anyone else hoping adidas will bring back the ACE line in the near future or am I the only one?
They give me crazy fast vibes
Simplicity is why people loved the 2010 and 2014 F50s. This is too much tech and bullshit . These are closer to mercs than traditional F50s
isn‘t that what the elite is for? this is a spaceship on purpose
Messi review soon?
Video coming very soon 👍
Heads up for anyone considering to purchase a pair of F50’s. They fit a little long so either go true to size or half a size down. I went true to size “10.5” and even with my grip socks there’s still about half an inch or less of space in the toe area. I have 2 pairs of the air zoom mercs and went size 10 and 10.5 on either one, the 10.5 fitting perfectly. Even in those there’s still a bit of space in the toe area but feels much more secure and snug. Nonetheless, I’m going to try out the f50 and see how they break in.
Actually I'd say don't go down and u should gl true to size. Plus the shape of the toe box is more tampered and narrow vs the crazyfast. So for me even tho the length was good at true to size. I really hated how it pushed on my big toe and I didn't like it tbh. Not very anatomical in shape more pointy
There's hardly any foam used at all. It's a bit of a sham. Should have used full length or a lot more like they do with the mercs. I don't really get this "technology" business anyway. It's a boot. You use it to kick a ball, and the impact these technologies actually have, I don't believe make any significant difference on the pitch. The biggest thing is the raised toe compared to the other variants. For the price I don't think it's worth it
Tbf, the Mercs are only 2/3 length of the boot too. And I agree, tech does not make anyone play any better on the pitch. I think newer or “better” technology is less about making people play better, and more about making people be more comfortable (in their own way/with their own preferences of course) This is why there are different technologies, to accommodate different types of comfortability
Gimmick on the sole of another gimmick
❤🔥⚽️😊🙏🇳🇵
This tech wouldnt last to next gen of f50😂
Is it even healthy to wear the boots, constantly having your feet elevated cant be good for your feet health
Still 300 even though seemed to be used? lol
He did say he played with them
Can you give me a free pair
No
