Semiconductor Devices: Bridged Amplifier

One method of achieving higher load power is to create a bridged configuration. Instead of driving one end of the load with the other end tied to ground, a bridged amplifier drives both ends of the load in anti-phase. This can result in up to four times the load power but requires twice the circuitry.
