I love seeing how Oh My Girl is so close to both of the hosts. Doni during many years in Weekly Idol and Idol Room. And to Jang Sungkyu during many months with him and Oh My Girl working together in Queendom.
People like to hate on Doni because of the hammer hits and some physical humour that was inappropriate mostly for international fans. But he helped so many idol groups shine, grow and win fans by being a fun MC on Weekly Idol and developping a great chemistry with a ton of idols. It's a shame him and Defconn don't have a show like that still, but I think that the generation gap with new idol groups was becoming too large for them to continue anyway.
@@bobdude42 agreed 100% I actually found their interactions with the groups to be funny for the most part Unfortunately something I've noticed within the 3rd and 4th gen fans is that they're trying too hard to be "woke", but that "wokeness" ignores cultural awareness. Korea isn't America and their values are completely different. While yes, Korea is technologically advanced, their values are set in tradition and things that America is moving away from. 2nd gen is what I grew up with personally, and their forms of humor are much more crass and have underlying racist or misogynistic ties (not that it's okay in the first place, but different culture, different perspectives) or physical comedy that wouldn't be seen as "acceptable" with todays fans. I'm just not a fan of people trying to apply foreign values/standards to a country of completely different values/standards is all.
