- Mr Big Bite and the Team at Bigbite performance built the GT7 for their client, Vula technology systems, in a build that divided opinions on social media.
This was the final week of the build.

I love the introduction boss. I 💯 percent respect your disclaimer. The difficulty to make a golf 1 into a G7 is ridiculously difficult. Merging a box shape into a smoothly shaped G7 is very difficult. I respect the vision. ❤
Yeah. For 30 years to merge, obviously not effortlessly, takes a level of confidence and that is what is needed in a community with so much unchecked hate, someone basically showed us, the MK1 chassis is still relevant, THAT is the take away here❤.
Nothing wrong with the build. It was their vision and i think they nailed it. Great content as always. Like Chip said: You not a biased content creator
I honestly think this is a good built. Most people that don't like it are people that feel that the golf was violated and want it original but honestly this is beautiful and different
Art is Subjective, as they say. If you do not like it rather keep it to yourself. The GT7 is like something that has been brought to like out of my wildest dream. Well done to each and everyone who is involved in this amazing project. The perfect mix of the old and new. The perfect future !

People don't know how much work and dedication it takes to do this, a normal project car alone is stressful so imagine having to do this and there's still limited time...give Mr BigBite his flowers guys🙌

This is flippen cool, only thing I could see that anyone could complain about was maybe the gap between the body and the front bumper, but other than that, I can fault it.
For me personally I think I wouldve gone with something like the Kamei wide body kit but yes that is just for me.
I cant imagine the amount of work that must've gone into it, just to get the smallest thing to work or to look good would be a enormous amount off work, I hope this is the beginning of more of these types of out of the box builds, WELL DONE!!

If we look at the concept pics we see the mk7 bumper but in the box shape, if we can do that and keep it flat instead of the rounded off part it'll look phenomenal but nonetheless this car is amazing, nobody has done it before shout out to Mr BigBite and SkidMarks for supplying the content and keeping the car community in SA alive
The car is solidly built. Maybe a fabrication of a narrower version of the bumper could have done the trick..Or Lancia Delta style arches. The sound of the motor is Epic though..Well done guys.💥👏
They should've made the side skirts for the car, build wise I rate it 7/10 🎉

That is class, I see the US doing this a lot with dodge chargers etc, modern chassis and tech on old shells. This would have been harder being such a small car so they had to improvise. Would love to do this to that red bmw.

The is nothing wrong with the build that car i have been following from start Big Bites did a great jon the interior and engine plus body works is super just those wheel arches are too wide if he can find a way to reduce the wideness anyways Big Bites big ups to you sir

Well done getting mk7 engine and gearbox and interior into mk1, flippen crazy. It does however look horrible from the outside.
And all the comments about haters not knowing how much work goes into something like this, if the car is not attractive from any angle saying how much work went into it wont change someone's mind on the looks.
Im sure the owner isnt as sensitive as some of the people in this chat.

Box shape the 7 bumper. Thats all remove the MK1 indicator lights.
Comment if you know how to build and fabricate this guy put a lot of work into this build and believe me it's not easy, give the guy credit where credit is due, excellent work
Saving cost, take the gti 7 bumper and make the golf1 fit in it, maybe take the golf and make the Gti bumper fit on it!

Thats how social media works unfortunately, if you sing at home on front on friends and family then you not necessarily gonna get honest feedback, honest feedback comes when u on idols. That's unfortunately the cost of posting/showing your talent/items in public. Goes hand in hand, if u accept the positive comment, be a man and take negative as well. If not, keep it private.
People need to understand the main goal if the build. Its mixing old nd new style in 1.so yes you will see g7 parts here nd there..

This is a masterpiece. Honestly if you have anything bad to say about this car then I say take your own money and try to do better, it will be a project for 11 years and end up incomplete on marketplace.

You can't post content on the interweb and not expect criticism or constructive criticism. The build will not be every one's Cup of tea.. But you can appreciate the fact that lots of late nights, hard work and fabrication went into this build...my opinion it's rather lackluster and the "wide body" attempt is subpar.
The criticism is fine, but there is no need for nasty comments.
