My first Delta Green character was EPA Criminal Investigations Division. It makes for a great JOT build, because it's a role you expect to have both a law encorcement skill set with combat/investigation and a decent sciences background. Everybody else in the party went supernerd of one flavor or another so it ended up being extremely useful that she was so flexible. Can recommend! I feel like EPA CID is kind of used to the idea that there are unfeeling inhuman entities that exist only to devour, with no regard for the ruination or ending of human lives. Shifting targets from the coal industry or other heavy-polluting corporate enemy to eldritch monstrosities seemed pretty natural. :)
The Lethality Rating thing is so good. Considering characters have around 10 or so hitpoints, plus 3 for kevlar armor, you're dead whichever way the damage roll goes.
Oh man, I can't wait for the handlers guide review! I'm gonna be sharing this one with all my players. I feel like it helps explain some things, both tone and gameplay, really well.
Number of players is like any other RPG: 3 to 5 is the sweet spot. As far as tips, the Handler book is chock full of advice and tips tailored to the game itself.
I can´t believe I missed out on this just because I didn´t like the name and thought I hae Cthulhu 7e and enaugh imagination to do scenarios like this on my own when somebody mentioned it to me.... But I have to admit there is enaugh in here to make this a no brain purchase

Excellent review, Dave. Looking forward to Handler's.
I was getting a lot of Ideas for a hellboy kr bprd campaign with this
Caleb Smith Oh yes definitely. This is practically a Hellboy sourcebook.
Outstanding work. Thanks for the review!
Approaching that 1k mark!
This looks great for an SCP Foundation campaign.
Nice touch at 5:45. I screen capped it after stopping the video in slomo. Weird picture.

Great for any SCP themed campaigns, also did anyone see the image at 5:45?
I use the ruleset for a scp themed game every other Thursday
What image? Are you feeling okay? I'm not gaslighting you right now.
I'm glad of what you do!
Thanks, Raff!
Start every session by having the player characters sign a mission NDA.
That’s a really cool idea. Department letterhead and everything. I’m going to use that if I run this!
One of my favorite games ever
you the man dave :)
Epic work
Sounds interesting 😎
You should do jumpscare warnings. Just a rule of thumb.
This game seems fun. I have to try it sometime. Any recommended amount of players or any tips?
