Comala?. It can´t be the same spooky place narrated by Juan Rulfo in the great Pedro Páramo novel.
Lucie no es posible no que los nombres!!. Too good to miss.

In planning our visit to the Colima/Comala area I stumbled upon this interview with Lucie. While strolling in the main plaza of Comala, who should we bump into but Lucie herself!! I recognized her from the video and after introducing ourselves, we scheduled a 1-on-1 discussion with Lucie over breakfast. We've lived in Mexico for 7 years, but this region was unknown to us. It was well worth the time and money to get her input and suggestions. Lucie was upfront and honest about the pros and cons of living in the area. She also gave us some good insights on Guadalajara and other places around México. If you're looking for an inside scoop on this area, do yourself a favor and contact Lucie for a well-rounded perspective.

After watching this I decided to make contact with Meshico Magical Tours and do Lucie Canuel’s program. There was a lot to chose from, and I decided to concentrate mostly on the Cultural Integration Program and tours around Guadalajara, Tlaquepaque, Tonala, Tequila, and Zapopan with a quick trip to Comala. And it was a wonderful experience. From hand signals particular to this region, to how not to inadvertently offend the locals with a sensitive understanding what to expect, what to do, and not do when traveling/living here, she did not disappoint. Those who love Mexico will thoroughly enjoy her depth of knowledge of Guadalajara, it’s rich history, and it’s diversity. The Program would benefit newcomers, those already here, and certainly people planning to come to Mexico. As an avid traveler I have done tours all over and Meshico Magical Tours are wonderful. I heartily recommend Lucie’s Program to all. She’s awesome!

Wow ! You have learned well, the exact pronunciation of all the Mexican words, most people from other countries mix-mash their pronunciations (half-assed) but they don’t care its their arrogance, i suppose

Nice person. Didn't know dual citizenship was an option. Lucie, do you have a favorite Spanish language tutorial app to recommend?
Also, do you think you could develop an in-depth questionnaire, including societal preferences, to help people take the guesswork out of finding the area(s) where they would most likely enjoy living long term in Mexico - sort of a flowchart concept?
