I grew up to my father singing this song to me his brothers and sisters would get together and sing this song and he would play the guitar and sing I was very young. it has always made my heart melt still to this day evermore. Brings back memories of my father who has been long but not for a moment forgotten. He was a genius. 💚 Thank you .
I am very much like your family i grew up in my early childhood through forceful music, it was hard of course but it actually sounded nice because during my early early years I grew up listening to my mom playing the violin while my dad plays the piano while my neighbor plays the trumpet it was nice times and they actually surprising played this song and now hearing this after a long time it melts my heart too and also good to hear listening to this song brings back memories it does for me too
Hey. I'm a huge fan of the Fallout series and music, bassist and now I'm starting on guitar. And I must say I'm now your fan. Congratulations for the great video and accent man!
I'm pretty sure this was the first song I ever learned to sing. My parents had a wind up gramophone and a collection of 78 rpm singles. This was the one I liked best (along with Whispering Grass on the b side). It would have been in the early to mid fifties and I must have been about 5 or 6. I've been playing guitar for a long time but I'd never learned how to play this. Now I can. Thank you so much.
Hi Duced, I remember using an online tab to learn the song (although I rarely stick to them 100%) but to do this video I made them mysef indeed,, using a text editor and Adobe Premiere for the video.

anyone from 2024 because of the hype?
This video should be called "How to play every single Ink Spots song except "Your feet's too big"
Unless you continue after the intro.
wicked cover, cheers man
I came from fallout and since I have a guitar I’m going to give it a try.
Many thanks for this lesson, friend.

Thank you for the great tutorial
Good job explaining the song simply. Thanks, it will help me!
Thanks so much man, such an awesome song.
Honestly I just wanted to learn the intro it is so classic
You are Awesome for doing this!!!
I just wanted to know the introduction, because nobody writes it down when writing the song out on paper, thanks.
glad it helped! then you probably watched the video from 1'04 approximately...
i have depression cause i lost my capo and its been 2 years
It's time to move on. Somewhere out there, there's another capo waiting for you.
You can make a makeshift capo out of an expendable pencil and some rubber bands. Easy peasy.

Hey, that shouldn't be an issue. Could even sound better :) I like to play this tune one both.
Matter of getting used to haha! Thanks for the good tut

Don't apologize for your accent i like it
How do you stretch your fingers out so far for the F#7 chord? Am I supposed to play all 5 strings? 242354
Hi Joey, my bad, I think the last 4 should be a 2, therefore part of the barre. Still difficult to play though...

What if I wanted to play I don't want to set the world on fire?
I have another tutorial for it :) don't have the link handy but browse my videos by views, it will be one of the first. Good luck!
Did you made that tabs by yourselve ?
Hi Duced, I remember using an online tab to learn the song (although I rarely stick to them 100%) but to do this video I made them mysef indeed,, using a text editor and Adobe Premiere for the video.
selvans That's my problem I hate all of these tabs on the internet but your version is great. You don't have the full song as a tab system right ?
the ink spots just use the same riff in all their songs
man i have a crush on you
I happen to like racoons, we should meet up some day :D

What is the tuning of your guitar
Don't say 'sorry for the French accent' brother. It's one of, if not the best, accents a man can have.
You got this from fallout 3? Not the original makers?
I know this song from Fallout 1 if that's what you're asking.
he said by the ink spots chucklenuts
