Great haul. I'm just drooling over that chicken book. I'm doing a chicken journal sometime in the new year. Love those papers at 23:00 I bought some also. so many other goodies you got that I recently bought also. Isn't Dollar Tree just a haven for us crafters. I bought some of those tin tiles from Dollar Tree long time ago for covers also. I can't find any Edith Holden books here either. Have a wonderful weekend ☺♥
Nice haul, Judy. I have a bird book from the How What When series. Agree, paper is a nice texture and illustrations are nice and very vintage. Tracie Fox shared a tip for the seam ripper: use it to cut the threads holding signatures in vintage books. Less chance of damaging the paper than using scissors. Enjoyed your video, thanks. Happy holidays to you!
Oh, to make the mica spray use something like the Paper Mill's Mixing Fluid as it works as a binding agent.
I have not tried that before, but it sounds like a great idea! I will look for that
