Hello, I am from Morocco 🇲🇦 and we do the same thing except we add some sesame seeds to the date paste and some crushed walnuts, I love your way too and believe me you took me home with this recipe😍🏠 you are the best, have a wonderful day.
Hi Dimitroula,I hope u had super holidays with ur family I watched all ur videos u kinda go fast but that's ok I enjoy watching u 🥂 Also those stuffed kourabiedes my grandma used to make them in Greece, when I lived there she came from turkey Young girl it brought me lots of wonderful memories Thank u
Dimitra's Dishes Hi dimitra Thank you for thinking of us here in Australia My family and I are fine as we are far from the fires But our hearts are broken thinking of all those family's who lost love ones and there homes as well all the wild life Even though we are. Far from the fires we have days were it is very j hassy. From the fires Thank you Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺 Betty 🇦🇺🇬🇷❤️❤️😊
Hello good afternoon hope you are doing well. I have question about date and walnut filed I want to make it please let me know how long keeps fresh thank you 🙏
Hi Dimitra, this morning we made the date and walnut kourambiedes and they tast beautiful, however 2 little problems. They are extremely short, and one is left holding a date ball between one's fingers, and ones chest covered in short-bread crumbs. The other thing is, we had a lot of filling (date and walnut) left over, a lot. We did measure as per your instructions. Any suggestions? Looking forward to trying the crumpled Fillo pastry dishes.
Hello Dimitra....These look absolutely delicious and would decorate a stand platter wonderfully. All flavors I adore....I have a bit of a sweet tooth. I am wondering if any components of these cookies can be made ahead and frozen. Be it just the dough or already filled and not baked or bake then freeze. I have an engagement party coming up and these would be a star addition to the table. Thank you in advance and thank you for introducing us to new recipes.👍🤗🥰😊☕
Your recipe is good but work with one metric system . You have the butter in imperial system ( half pound ) , then the flour you measure with the glass ( which glass) , then you weight the dough and the filling in metric . How can you work like this . For someone who try the recipe first time is very confusing
I've never had them growing up but, I was introduced to them by a Cypriot friend. In Greece, they call them: mamoulia..haha! Makes sense now :) We share a lot of similar recipes with neighboring countries. Hope you give them a try. They're delicious! and, I used my Kourambiedes dough without the nuts so, it is my recipe :) Hope you give it a try!
@@DimitrasDishes I made lots for Christmas, I used the mamoul mold....I told you about it during the holidays. It's a wooden mold, it's cool, it makes its own design where you use the fork. The dough is made with semolina. Watch their video.....3 kinds of filling, kind of like yours. Not necessary to weigh ingredients for each cookie, just eyeball it. You're doing great!!! ♡
