I guess that religion she was in really screwed with her head, but of course, society is way too much about how we look, and everybody wants to be young, etc., etc. Sugar is so unhealthy for people. I am a sugar addict myself, but I found recipes that are sweetened mainly with dates and organic honey and WHAT A DIFFERENCE IT MAKES. I am old, but about five or six years ago I stopped eating genetically modified foods and I eat mainly fruits and vegetables and I feel great because of it. It is kind of sad to see all these women get on Ozempic and I hear that when you stop it, you gain the weight back rapidly. Why can't people try and lose weight the healthy way but quitting all the fattening, unhealthy foods and exercise? If you don't like the gym, just walk. Walking is one of the greatest things we can do for our health. And once you hit a certain age, probably around 30, you can't stuff your face anymore and get away with it. People want to be thin and still eat all the junk they have been eating for years! Ozempic can't fix that. 😆

I’ve never thought body positivity was encouraging anyone to be unhealthy. It’s interesting to hear someone else’s perspective on it and helps me understand why others may also dislike it. I just took it as if you do eat something known to not be healthy, don’t hate yourself for it. In treatment with the cookies and donuts, although I agree with you, that method of treatment as I’m sure you know is exposure therapy. But I definitely agree that education on nutrition in general should also come with that. Yes badges of honour! Love that! That’s body positivity♥️

Thank you for telling us your story around weight/weight loss. I really agree with your message. My experience with Ozemp is different from others & I have found I have needed to still change my diet/reduce ETOH & increase my activity to loose weight. Health benefits have been huge and it has taken me over six months to loose 15 kilograms. Everyone’s metabolism is unique. We still don’t have Traitors US season 2 over here in 🇦🇺unless you have Peacock. Can’t wait to watch it - sounds like it’s another good season. You would be great on that show!!

I don't think the body positivity movement is about eating junk food and being fat and being okay with it. It's about not beating yourself up if you're a size 10 or larger. People can still eat a healthy diet and not be overweight.

Personally I'm super over people trashing weight loss drugs. There are a host of reasons people may need to use them, and it's not just an easy out. I'm personally disabled and working out is extremely hard for me to do. I do it when I can. Having had a baby at 40, and the crazy stuff that comes with that, on top of other health things led to an insane weight gain. Before all of this, I was able to move much better, and was at a wonderfully healthy weight, not needing to loose anything. And now it's even harder to try to loose weight. For some reason people always assume those who are overweight also overeat, and eat crap, and that couldn't be further from the truth for me. I'm finally trying weight loss meds to help. It's been so beneficial for me. This way I can get to a point where I can loose weight, and be able to move more and more, and get better in my body, and being able to be here for my 4 year old.

I agree totally with you Zack about cultivating self-love and self-acceptance and taking good care of your body because you want to be as healthy as possible, not because you want to be accepted by a bunch of judgemental fools, which I think is one of the problems with Heather. I guess that religion she was in really screwed with her head, but of course, society is way too much about how we look, and everybody wants to be young, etc., etc. Sugar is so unhealthy for people. I am a sugar addict myself, but I found recipes that are sweetened mainly with dates and organic honey and WHAT A DIFFERENCE IT MAKES. I am old, but about five or six years ago I stopped eating genetically modified foods and I eat mainly fruits and vegetables and I feel great because of it. It is kind of sad to see all these women get on Ozempic and I hear that when you stop it, you gain the weight back rapidly. Why can't people try and lose weight the healthy way but quitting all the fattening, unhealthy foods and exercise? If you don't like the gym, just walk. Walking is one of the greatest things we can do for our health. And once you hit a certain age, probably around 30, you can't stuff your face anymore and get away with it. People want to be thin and still eat all the junk they have been eating for years! Ozempic can't fix that. 😆

I’ve never thought body positivity was encouraging anyone to be unhealthy. It’s interesting to hear someone else’s perspective on it and helps me understand why others may also dislike it. I just took it as if you do eat something known to not be healthy, don’t hate yourself for it. In treatment with the cookies and donuts, although I agree with you, that method of treatment as I’m sure you know is exposure therapy. But I definitely agree that education on nutrition in general should also come with that.

Thank you for telling us your story around weight/weight loss. I really agree with your message. My experience with Ozemp is different from others & I have found I have needed to still change my diet/reduce ETOH & increase my activity to loose weight. Health benefits have been huge and it has taken me over six months to loose 15 kilograms. Everyone’s metabolism is unique. We still don’t have Traitors US season 2 over here in 🇦🇺unless you have Peacock. Can’t wait to watch it - sounds like it’s another good season. You would be great on that show!!

When u replayed the BF interview, I got chills. It is still so hard to watch RL all cutesy when she tells her side. She comes across in the interview like she wanted to get away with it. She was embarrassed how it came out not that she did it. Sad and still gross to rewatch a year later.

Granted, the Mary Crosby and Jen Shaw’s of the world would have found something cruel to say, because that is their nature. But, I feel that she felt some power from removing a weapon from them.
I don't think the body positivity movement is about eating junk food and being fat and being okay with it. It's about not beating yourself up if you're a size 10 or larger. People can still eat a healthy diet and not be overweight.

I've been anna, mia, and overeat. I do my best to be as healthy as possible, and I'm heavier because of it. She is fatphobic because she seems to hate fatness, not because she wants to lose weight. She puts her value in her size, and that's dangerous. Body neutrality over body positivity!

@@ED80s IF Jax ever settles down, it's not going to be with a woman of no dignity whatsoever. Smoking pot and then going on SSRI's is NOT the way to get better. He's clearly medicated, admitted to the roller coaster of drugs he takes, and she's NEVER ONCE had a HINT of addressing this with him. Jax could do with a completely holistic cleanse and reset of his system. THREE sessions at the gym SCREAMS uppers and SSRI's, which I suspect his parents got him on early in his life. Of course his brain is sprained.
Personally I'm super over people trashing weight loss drugs. There are a host of reasons people may need to use them, and it's not just an easy out. I'm personally disabled and working out is extremely hard for me to do. I do it when I can. Having had a baby at 40, and the crazy stuff that comes with that, on top of other health things led to an insane weight gain. Before all of this, I was able to move much better, and was at a wonderfully healthy weight, not needing to loose anything. And now it's even harder to try to loose weight. For some reason people always assume those who are overweight also overeat, and eat crap, and that couldn't be further from the truth for me. I'm finally trying weight loss meds to help. It's been so beneficial for me. This way I can get to a point where I can loose weight, and be able to move more and more, and get better in my body, and being able to be here for my 4 year old.
It is a miracle for the handicapped who put much weight on because of the drugs their chronic illness forced them to take.
