Stuck at home | A very mundane silent vlog

- A new silent vlog which probably feels like a repetition of the previous one, since I am stuck all day at home during lockdown. However, no day ever feels boring and this vlog shows the many things I get to do still. CC is available and optional if you fancy some extra narration.
**Please be mindful that vlogs tend to show mostly the good moments and do romanticise life (there’s even a soundtrack). No one’s life is ever 100% perfect - mine certainly isn’t - so please do not let what you see on social media have a big impact on your mental health.
**I can fluently read Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and French, so please feel free to write in those languages, if more comfortable for you :)

I made a good decision to watch this before going to bed! So relaxing to watch. My favorite part is the sunset! So dreamy 🤍
In this full of cozy and beautiful moments in the everyday life of this video, I also could find myself relaxing while virtually being there. The footage you prepare for your podcast makes me so excited. And the meals you made for yourself look so sweet. I especially love the sunset part where you drink wine surrounded by nature. That amazing time of your own and the views are a great gift from you to all of us. Thank you so much!

Thank you, Miyu. I think the meaning of 'carpe diem' is one that really makes sense to me, so I find confort in these little moments of the mundane, like even just stopping everything to watch a sunset. For me that's instant happiness :)

@Stillness 'carpe diem' became the most important thing to me too recently. I really enjoyed watching you doing little things, some of them are directly related to your future and others are for fun. I was just winding down and about to sleep but then I saw a beautiful thumbnail that I couldn’t not click... and for sure it didn’t disappoint !! And That bowl / pan of oatmeal just looks so yummy and filling !!

Forgot to say: the screen is just a normal TV. You only need a HDMI cable and an adapter and voila!! you have a 2nd screen to use :P

I don't think the day can ever be mundane with those beautiful views! The fog over the water and all those purple and lilac tones was just lovely 😍 My favourite scene was when you were melting the chocolate. A pan inside a pan. No idea why but I liked it a lot. It was like Inception but with pans (this is how my brain works 🤣🤣) I have some chocolate so I'm going to make some chocolate covered fruit tomorrow inspired by you 😀 And I spotted Key & Peele at the end! That sketch was a very funny one, with the kids names in class 🤣 They always bring a smile to my face 🙂
Lavinia, you are always so lovely and supportive, muchas gracias!!! 😍 It starts to feel a bit mundane when I feel I'm a bit limited on what I can do while in lockdown, but nevertheless, I do enjoy every single day as each still feels different to me, and new things appear here and there to keep it interesting. Especially the landscape is ever-changing depending on the weather.
Ha, panception!!! You know what, that's how my brain works too, so I get you!!! I am living with the bare minimum, I have to do what I can with what I have... and that means a pan within a pan 🤣 Let me know how the sweet fruit snack tasted.

Nothing about this is mundane at all! You made me want to have all those things. But shame that it can't be with that view, in the bit of sun with a bottle of wine and cheese to quench the appetite and soul. Every bit of it made me wish I was there :). On a side note, I'm intrigued to see what this project will be :). Listening to your voice and wondering where you'll be going next is quite the page turner! :)

I love the way you wrote this comment, so you can be sure that you also write beatifully when expressing emotions; so it's not only me 🥰 This project will be a lot of work, I can assure you that, especially when my mind is constantly firing more ideas at me for completely different projects, and I am trying to do everything at once. If you ever feel confortable to participate on a podcast episode, I would love to talk about your previous comments on what fashion means to you, and all the early memories you have of it. But only if you are confortable. In the meantime, when any of the projects are ready, I will most likely mention them here 🙂

I'm all for supporting anyone making the most out of each sunset, no matter how many times they see one. Yes, Candy Crush was a long time ago, but also played it a lot then, and lately I found this one and it's my night routine to pass as many levels as I can haha. Thank you for watching :)
Sorry, I didn't see this comment before. I didn't post any podcasts yet, because I am still working on everything and recording some episodes with friends. But when I create one, I will start to link them in with my videos. I will also do it for fun and my interest in sharing stories etc, but since it's not a job, I am taking my time and not rushing :)
ah I actually am in a similar situation as you.
Since I live in US, I am still stuck all day at home and everyday feels repetitious.
The only differences is when I feel some energy and try to do something new.

I guess everybody has learned how to adapt to this after one year, but it still feels a bit repeitive at times, indeed. I realised I love my quiet days locked inside, and will probably miss them when things go back to normal. At the same, I long for a bit more freedom again, especially to travel... Hang on in there! :) Thank you for watching and your words!
