Good question! My best sell was a Oregon Scientific Thermometer. Picked it up brand new at $6 and sold for $35. I appreciate the videos bro. I feel like I'm always adding something to the rolodex of brands to look out for
Best Sale was "J.Crew Blazer Mens 42R Ludlow Black Superfine Wool Loro Pianas Sport Coat NEW" Sold for $142. Playing the volume game this month. Great Video as always 😉
damn solid sales caleb, you make me wanna look more at boots and shoes... but i hate touching them. i wanna find reigning champ! dang man. on my list. just found clothing arts cargo pants for the first time and i recently learned from experts in these matters that because i'm an old man they are designed for my age group. my best sales of the past month: sold a pair of selvedge "Roy" jeans (handmade in Oakland in 2015) for $300 (got for $6.99) and let's see also sold a vintage 90s Lemonheads t-shirt (crappy alternative band, not the candy) for $180 to japanese buyer... cost was $2.99 off new rack at goodwill. i like the weirder sales of unique stuff the best. thanks for the vid, keep it real
Hey caleb, when you're creating titles for your listing. Are you adding the keywords based off of research or do you have a cheat sheet for different styles, patterns, etc.?
Thank you! Great video! I do have a question. I understand how to tell vintage tshirts with the single stitch, but how do you identify other vintage clothing? Thanks again!
tag, style. certain features, where it was made. a lot can tell you something is vintage but alot of time there isn't a specific way to tell the date. Some brands put the date on the tag to make it easier.
Thank you for all the informative videos you put out! I am just getting started in reselling mens clothing on ebay, and have made my first few sales thanks to guys like you. Keep up the good work man! 👍
I have a nice portable AC unit and a heater for the winter. It’s attached so most of it was insulated and my dad helped me insulate the outer walls and ceiling
Caleb, so much amazing info!! Having to pause to write down these brands. I still struggle to remember the ones I’m looking for once I’m in thrift mode
Hi Caleb. Thanks for sharing. Is there a Joshua to this team? Unfortunately my best clothing sale this week is a vintage Hawaiian shirt that hasn't been paid for yet 😮. I did however discover a new to me shirt brand- Gitman Bros 😊
No Joshua but my mom helps me get a senior discount at the thrift and my wife takes amazing care of our little one, the house, and me so it will always be a team effort
ruclips.net/video/KfWYd5OUukY/видео.html I made one on the top 10 bread and butter brands in my store. I also have dozens of thrift hauls where I go over the bread and butter items that you can check out! thanks for watching!
Selvedge refers to the literal edge of the material, is how the denim comes off the loom with the edge bound to keep it from unraveling, it's usually got a white and red stripe running along it. Because a bolt of denim is so wide, the edge of the fabric is limited and therefore rare and used for limited things. That edge is usually used to sew the outside leg seam on premium jeans because it lays real flat. Hipsters like to cuff up their selvedge jeans to show off the redline. If you look at the seams in most jeans, it'll just be a sloppy looking overlock stitch to keep it together.
Hearing that your thrift wanted $120 and only got $7.50 made me laugh 😂 Best sale so far was an obscure college hockey jersey (Northwestern), it had been sitting on the rack for 5 days when I found it. Flipped $13 -> $125 in two days
Let me know your best sale of the month below!
Mine may just be the polo I dm'd you about recently on Instagram. Sold for $55+ship in just over an hour!
My best sale of the month was a pair of Jordans for $180.

That Chaps is not Ralph Lauren unless it physically says Ralph Lauren, they sold that line years ago! Or just license it out to another supplier.

Bought a Hobbit book for $2, sold for $175
Nice!!!
Your killing it with great research Caleb. Well done.
thanks!
Use Isopropyl alcohol to take off the marks on the bottom of shoes.
I do sometimes but on a lot of them I don’t even worry about it because it takes less time to mark it out or leave it

You are buying for 3$ at a thrift store? My thrift stores in Pittsburgh starts at 6.99 for a plain gildan shirt 😅
Some items get missed and hit the discounts. My average buy cost is about $7 these days
Best sale was a Curtis Jere sculpture for $3, to $380
Nice!
Question: will you please share a link to one of your videos where you show your lighting/table set up for taking your clothing/listing pics?

"Salvage jeans? Like salvaged from a dump?" -Me, an idiot
Selvage it's a way the jeans are made and make them worth more money.
