Best method to pull of the authentic aroma and absolute tenderness is. 1. Boil the smoked bamboo shoots for about 15mins. 2. Cut into pieces and discard the hard joint parts. 3. Add a small piece Rock salt or 1/4 spoonful of Sodium Bicarbonate which will help make it tender & extract its deep aroma as it cooks. 4. When you feel it tenderness and ready then add Groundnut paste. 5. Your final sauce will look a thick & grayish delicious taste 😋. NB: That Sodium Bicarbonate or Rock salt is a key ingredient, to reflect or represent the original taste
Thanks l am cooking it today, my friend from Mbale brought me some😀😀😀 Sister flying it is spoiling the health food...he has the best point here.... cooking oil free🥎
@@Simplypeace22 It sounded as if it was said that in only grows in uganda. But even in Uganda they grow bamboo shoot in the western area near Kisoro. Do some more research on the western side please.
Bamboo grows in Moyo too, west nile, although its used for roofing
