They are all great songs. I love gold,like a fool,dark romance,and memories. I love the way her voice is so rich. How she can take it higher or lower and have this sexiness to it. She has this growl and can manipulate it. Its so refreshing and different.
Attention Seeker is so fuuuun 💕 I hope she performed it at music shows too someday, as a b side for this album. Also, from Wheein's Wheee and Byul's Memories, Mamamoo doing rock band sound is always a delight 💕
Everyone should listen to her full album, it is a Pandora’s Box full of fantastic surprises. She has grown well as vocal, as an artist and KOMCA’s most credited artist. Her album has RnB vibe, Bruno Mars, Avril Lavigne, Wheein and Solar esque, Japanese anime but very cohesive and very Moon Byul. Her tone, rhythm, and voice… you could hear the improvement. It sounds more confident and stronger.

Not gonna lie, Moonbyul is my bias in Mamamoo, but this is my least favorite album from her. I really liked the chill, breathy way she used to sing (with occasional belting), but she kinda belts this entire album and my ears aren't loving it. Which makes me sad because her voice used to have so much more texture and nuance...
@@12himitsu12 Yeah, but it sounds like she's shouting. Her belting in Absence was more controlled, whereas now she blares her voice at full volume. She used to utilize more healthy vocal techniques like Wheein, but now she strains like Solar.
Also, most of these songs are kinda "noise" songs. I couldn't stand Lunatic back then, and too many on this album sound like that. Wish Moonbyul would go back to her more cool musical style because she used to be my absolute favorite soloist in Mamamoo.
I love byul too but it was so obvious(especially after the documentary was released) that she got so disheartned by the lack of support for DSOFTM not only from gp but from her MEMBERS as well. Take note this is where she got heat for being too "butch" + lawsuits etc. I don't blame her for going a more mainstream sound. She also didn't participate in writing/composing her title tracks after eclipse so that's that. IMO this album is a step up from CITT/sequence(except shutdown ofc) @@underthegardenwall Personally I think her voice suits RNB type sounds.

idk but the WWUD should be her title track or debut song, rather than the touchin and movin imo.
Maybe you should listen a few times to get the vibe of the title track, it grew on me after a few times on repeat.
