The guy male Tanya fired had been given multiple chances to improve his bad work place behavior before being let go.
When she was a drill sergeant, her trainees repeatedly disrespected her b4 that whole drama.
When she was told to fight that company alone she believed doing anything else would be regarded as treason.
The two soliders that she got killed... Both wanted to play hero and willfully disobeyed orders to do it, any person who is in the military will tell you that the wannabe heros are the ones that get people unnecessary killed.
The hellish training her squad went through? That's our world equivalent of the tough training people have to go through to be part of elite military units.
Her invasion of some countries Capitals, all the countries that she fought declared war on her country without any provocations.
Her warcrimes were all technically legal, makes you think of wat is technically legal in war.

Fun fact about the megaphone scene. She knew that she has to give the people a warning so civilians can evacuate, which would also give the enemy a chance to group up. She puts on a cutesy little kid voice to make them think it’s a joke of some kind so no one gets ready and is basically like “well, we gave them their warning. Blow them up.”

@@Thanatos35 And she tortured every single member of her battalion personally so in the case where they were ever captured by the enemy she'd be sure they wouldn't break. The anime really toned Tanya down a lot when you think about how fucking metal she is in the manga.

@@elciquito8159 who's the real moral criminal, the soldiers who see the city still has tons of civilians in it but also insurgents, which means the sole purpose of the civilians being there is for the purposes of creating a death trap for infantrymen, and so they go "lol that's not gonna work bro" and just blow them up instead of directly engaging them, or the soldiers who tried to use civilians as human shields in an active combat zone for the sole purpose of gaining a war advantage over the enemy

After all If they do nothing to help the civilians, it would have been a "TOTAL CHAOS". But if they do help then, the only thing they can do is see what the enemy is going to do next, Tanya went for the kill (lol) who knows what would have happened if another was leading instead of Tanya.

Don't worry, Tanya's not a Nazi. Peeps call her one just because it leans into the WW2 aesthetic, but the politics is really more like WW1 where it's all about politics and treaties and not genocide. For them at that moment it payed off, but for tanya it's a future issue that could cost her people many lives. Sorry I think that's probably the best take I've heard on that part ever, and I've watched a lot of reactions to this video (mostly to see just how many of these reactors haven't seen the anime, the answer is, seems like all of them cause I've not seen one who has seen the show yet, that's fine, I just hope more people get interested in the show from this). But yeah Tanya is savage, but you have to be that way in war, sure it's not morally right, but none of what she did was illegal. few things: As has already been stated, this is closer to a WW1 Germany, so not led by the mustachiod menace or whatever, this is all done under the orders of an emperor. Second, Tanya's country ("The Empire", literally just german empire) was the country that got attacked. Third, Legally, everything Tanya did obeys the laws of war (especially because in the time period it's meant to take place, much fewer things were considered war crimes) including when the civilians were killed (morals is a different story, but they were given every possible chance to evacuate/leave/survive/etc, including an advance warning of "hey this city is about to get attacked, you need to leave or be seen as a combatant." and the blowing up a city bit was just an ammo/millitary factory, with any other damage likely coming from secondary explosions (seriously, who builds an explosive factory right in the middle of civilian infrastructure/housing? just a terrible idea) and they gave a warning which wasn't taken seriously (it was meant to be taken as a joke but fulfilled the requirements anyway, the dead guys fault for not taking warnings seriously) so quite frankly, given the laws and rules, i dont think tanya would qualify as a war criminal. could there be a trial? yes. would she lose? almost certainly not)

I love to see a fellow villain sympathizer, there aren't a lot of us out there.
The resistance fighters that Tanya blows away can effectively be classified as unprivileged combatants, those not protected by the laws of war. Combatants who are captured without the minimum requirements for distinguishing themselves from the civilian population (such as not having a uniform or any sort of easily distinguishable markings to set them apart from the regular military forces or civilian population), i.e. carrying arms openly during military engagements and the deployment immediately preceding it, lose their right to prisoner of war status without trial under Article 44 (3) of Additional Protocol I of the Geneva Conventions. They also killed a uniformed POW, a crime which absolutely no-one would forgive or forget. Based on this criteria, Tanya has a legal basis to annihilate them all at her discretion, and given that it's virtually impossible to tell them apart from actual uniformed soldiers, it's in her best interest to do so in order to ensure the safety of those under her command. Now, a bunch of civilians getting killed in the process would make this whole scenario heavily frowned upon, but again, there's no way to tell them apart from the resistance fighters, so the latter is firmly at fault here no matter what angle you try to approach this situation from.

Anime shows so much of how a Demon Tanya is and her Superior(Male with the Glasses, can see it like a Beacon from a Lighthouse) been trying to tell his fellows about her but they only see her "Good Deeds" and refuse to listen to him also some of them never met her and catch her on her "Demon time".
Tanya is kinda a co author of the book of war crimes and then was told to go down the list and comit them before the book is published.
