Am also a fan of avocado. They are in season now in South Africa so prices are pretty reasonable.
Very proud of you still finding time to go to the gym even though you were very late getting to your room with the hold-ups. And then not giving in to eating the French fries with your dinner. Your breakfast looked amazing.
I did my 5km walk with my friend down in Durban. The weather was amazing and we battled our way through crowds of walkers and finished in exactly 1 hour so pretty happy with that. Now we are training for the next walk in August in the hopes we can improve on the time.

I enjoy the weekly vlogs, Sophie. Sounds like a very eventful layover in Munich, and glad you enjoyed ladies night.
It's wonderful to follow your journey with Emirates. We flew Emirates for the first time in March. Melbourne to Amsterdam via Dubai and came back Rome to Melbourne via Dubai. The service was spectacular on all flights. So well done to all the crew on Emirates!!

You are such a ray of sunshine (and you have wonderful hair!) - my daughter is half way through her uni degree but occasionally throws it out there that she would perhaps like to do a few years as FA - your videos make me think that she would probably enjoy it.

Loving the longer weekly reserve vlogs. I had a laugh that you remembered to pack your bikini for your bag with everything but your forgot the kitchen sink and a birtish person you should know that we need that in our suitcase. At least you had a flight on your first reserve week but what a shame on the arrival and transfer. I was so jealous of your amazing looking breakfast You looked really pretty for your well deserved ladies night.

Hi Sophie! You mentioned in this video that your school had a 'tuck-tuck shop'. In New Zealand we call it a 'tuck shop', which is quite similar :)

Thanks Sophie for the video. When you are on airport standby and get sent on a turnaround can you leave your suitcase behind or does it go for the round trip?
They have somewhere secure we can leave them and collect when we get back form the trip ☺️

Airport standby can be very frustrating but it could be worse, you could be doing this with an LCC like Ryan air or America’s Southwest Airlines.

I'm sure your power bill must be expensive keeping the apartment so cold. Would it be possible to give us the temp in Farenheit for those of us who don't use the Celsius system? I checked the job description for cabin crew and there is no mention of COVID vaccine.
During the pandemic a lot of companies made the COVID vaccine mandatory, but the pandemic is over.
Are new hires expected to get the COVID vaccine to become a cabin crew?
You need the covid vaccine as we still fly to countries that require it ☺️
As a flight attendant myself, the first thing I thought when you didn't get called off airport reserve was... good job all you crew, for showing up for your scheduled flights! Then you said the same 😅😂

The unfortunate incident that happened with Munich immigration sure stole your time away from you. I'm sure some of your colleagues were disappointed because it ruined their plans to explore Munich and you weren't even paid for that time🤦♀️.
I love the little dance you do everytime you eat. Tell me dear why do you always say, "good morning " then proceed to say, "that's a lie" its not morning?" 🤔😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

When I start filming its my way of making my self comfortable saying good morning 😂 so when its not, I call my self out on it. its silly but I cant start a day without saying it now

„Germany likes to be Germany“ 😂 Couldn‘t laugh any harder, sitting here and watching this video while being a German official (however not working for the police/immigration). Sorry about the inconvenience. IT can be just evil. I hope the Schnitzel made up for it (at least a little). Next time in Munch I recommend a Weißwurst (White sausage), when it‘s your cheat day 😉.
