That interview was very telling. She was so uncomfortable sitting next to him and you could tell by her answer that she was over the whole Miss Universe thing. She did come across as a little arrogant but she was standing up for herself and being that English is not her native language, she had some problems explaining herself. I think Miss Universe is under contract to maintain a certain image during her reign. And in 1996, the world wanted thin women; ten years, JLo, Beyonce' and Kim Kardashion have changed things for us women.
She speaks English more fluently back then than now....how's that!?

Be realistic everyone, this is a beauty pageant and you're solely judge on your looks, he had every right to say that she gained some weight. Do you know that if a girl gets a job at Hooters restaurant she has to sign a contract with her employer that she will maintain her looks, if she doesn't it's a breach of contract and she could be let go. Miss Universe should be much more stricter for they're representing their country........and honestly she is not all that as she thinks she is !!!!!
