What I like about this serial is that it doesn't blindly support all those rituals and traditions related to marriage. Even though they are important, they become worthless unless your heart is not there. See what happens with Shayam and Anjali. Shayam worships God Anjali follows all the traditions and rituals.they even met at the temple. Had a wedding completed with those rituals. But only Anjali loves him. Shayam eventually destroyed what they had between them. On the other hand, Akash and Payal too followed all the rituals and married with elders' approval. Even though they have a compatible relationship, it lacks warmth passion and interest. It is ironical that Arnav and kushi who married without rituals and for self-sacrificial reasons ended up having the most exciting understanding, supportive and passionate union. It's because despite all the misunderstandings and hatred, deep down they love and care for each other. So what's important in a marriage, isn't those superficial rituals but the heartfelt love care respect and the willingness to work out the relationship amidst all the challenges will create a beautiful matrimonial relationship which not even the gods dare to destroy.
