- A friend asked me if I wanted to review his “Cap and Gown” Jordan 11’s. When I got home with them the box and shoe didn’t look right, I checked with another SoleBrother that got a known legit pair off of the SNKRS APP release. Check this video out.
Them shoes look legit. If they were on feet nobody would question the "authenticity". What are we sneaker scientists now?

The things I noticed different from the pair I have is first and most obvious is the placement of the jumpman on the heels. Mine didn’t come with the inserts or the wrapping on the shoe tree. On my pair the patent leather doesn’t have the raw edges either. Plus the box is way off with the printing being so sloppy. I believe the bar code #s are the same(mine being:88477686688214) and the 23 on the box is indented so you can feel it when rubbing your hand across it. And my pair did come from the SNKRS app. I hope this might help

Wassup bro. Check my vid which shows what’s included with the pair from SNKRS. A couple things I noticed. There’s supposed to be the white and green YCM sticker on the inside of the box. Mine is on the left side of the black paper. There were no cardboard pieces included in the shoes. Only the plastic shoe tree on its own. No paper stuffed underneath the shoe tree or wrapped around it. Finally, the tongue on this pair is a bit tall. The pair from SNKRS is a bit shorter. Hope this helps man.
MJO23DAN Yeah, I saw a authentic pair. I hit up someone I knew had a SNKRS APP release pair. I was helping out a friend after he let me see his pair for a review. I instantly knew these were FUGAZI. I just hope he can get his paper back, he paid over retail for them. That’s why I’m straight on that early release garbo and wait until release day.

My pair from nike shoe tree didn’t come wrapped in paper and all of the videos I’ve seen of people who got it from Nike didn’t either shoe doesn’t look right to me in my opinion

Is the sole supposed to have that blueish of a tint? I'm asking because I've pictures where the sole is not that blue. Although it could have been the lighting in the pictures.

Idk if this has been said already but even that box in beginning the Letter R on EUR and BR are a lot bolder and a slightly bigger font than the rest of the letters. Maybe that's just me but I noticed that.

those are probably real but a grade B jordan (real Jordan's with factor defects that usually dont make it to retail stores). Plus the guy didnt compare these to the real one, people are calling fake just off the shoe tree and not the actual shoe..... smh

Honestly, the phylon midsole looks off like they skimped on the texture of what an 11 should really look like. That is what really stuck out to me on these. I could be wrong though I'm not a fan of the 11's so my expertise isn't what it is like I am with the 4's.
One thing i hate with the 11's is that they attract UA/replica production more than any other Jordan. At least that's how I see it!

If you have a black light use it to see if the stitching that runs along the inner lace loops glow with the light. If they do then that might be a sign that they are fake...

@@xavierpullen4385 Crazy thing is I was right. I bought the same kicks off eBay which send their kicks to Sneakercon in Jersey to get inspected. When I got them, I compared the kicks and the box to what goat sent me. I had pictures because my credit card company told me to keep them just in case.
Goat pair - cream colored soles, white paper inside box, shoe size tag on the box was blown up.
eBay pair - Soles were icy, black paper inside the box, shoe size sticker and the same as other authentic shoe size stickers when compared to other people's shoe box.
Ask where or who so we can be a wear maybe it might be a plug i know thanks

Looks like a quality control issue, probably assembled in a different factory.
Honest truth, I grabbed a pair of Black Cement 3’s that dropped unexpected and early from the SNKRS app and they were NOT as good as the pair I got from footlocker when they generally released.
There was a drastic difference in packaging (paper) and even the key chain was not tied on the shoe with the SNKRS pair.
The footlocker pair leather was way better and much softer leather.

That 23 on the back looks bust. I passed on these, sold my back up pair of 72-10's, and used that money to cop the Pinnacle Suede 11's. A Suede worthy of going on an 11. Got them for $600 too which isn't bad, I can see them reaching a grand in the next few years. Going to keep DS for till then at least.

You can tell right off that they are not retail just by the shape but other than that the bottom should be a darker shade of purple I have a UA pair of those but mine looks way better those came from an early batch,I buy UA sneakers because I got tired of taking Ls but I've had bot UA and retail side by side and believe it or not some UAs are of better quality for way less

The shape of the patent leather is off. The new cut or og cut slopes down but the humps are almost the same height. The distance between the jumpman foot and the cut on the leather is way too far. The mesh lace holder at the very top just doesnt look right. If

My pairs came from snkrs app and look nothing like this. Everything is off on these, the peaks not pointy, patent not cut high enough so much wrong smh.
I'm new to the J's game because I grew up poor and I just started getting money but from what I hear the quality of j's have been on. Steady decline my first pair I had to take back because it looked like someone took a sharp objects to my flu games and filled it in with a red sharpie.. And the quality of the knock offs are on the rise.. It's almost a wash.
