Drooling over the 2022 XSR 900. I love the first gen but I feel like they really nailed it with the 2nd. That package is going to be hard to beat for the price and packed with features (namely cruise control).
This is my dream bike right here. The 2022 model should be out in EU by now. Hopefully in the near Future I can own one. Thank you for sharing this experience!
I would wait a month of riding to understand the bike better before making any ergonomic changes. Maybe you find a better way of sitting, the suspension settles, or you might need to get the suspension set up for your weight. Great buy though, I want a torquier naked too.
Very cool bike my friend! I bought a 2020 Z900RS a year ago. It's a fun bike and I'm an old man so it makes me young again when I ride it. Hey I thought you lived in Florida, those look like mountains. I guess must have missed something.
The Z900RS was the other main bike I was considering. It definitely has the most classic look out of all these retro bike that have come out on the market. One of the main reasons I went with the Yamaha was all of the aftermarket support it has already, and I've never had a triple :) And I moved to San Diego a couple of months ago :)
That is a nice bike check out the one that’s just been released in the uk Christian Sharron replica . That bike you have is a weapon I had the mt09 enjoy
Congrats, It's a nice bike! I had a 2016 for 2 years before I sold it. Check out s2 concept (france) for some unique parts to evolve the retro look of it. Recommed changing the handlebar to clip-on.
I just picked up a 2021 too! I’ve added a good amount too. I’ve added a OEM quick shifter, TST turn signals, TST tail light, graves gauge relocation, trail tech mirrors, gb racing engine covers, womet tech bar ends, levers, engine slider, front and rear sliders, and Akrapovic GP Racing exhaust
Please buy the XSR125 and continue to show us how to squeeze every ounce of performance and handling we need to do to make the machine as good as it can be! Its to easy to buy a big bike and add some cosmetics! Your channel has been an inspiration for many small bore enthusiasts wanting to improve their Motorcycles and I know you owned a middle weight Kawasaki but you have just bought a big bike not following what your client base is wanting? small bore! classic upgrading! I have always followed your channel and feel you have gone in the wrong direction buying the XSR900 and not the XSR125? Or I am just selfish and need your expertise in modifying my XSR125! Please check them out! much better looking than the XSR700 and XSR900!
I reached out to my Yamaha dealer, no XSR125 scheduled to be available in the US. The US rarely gets the smaller displacement bikes that the rest of the world does. Unlike Europe where there's a market for newer riders (since their licenses have displacement requirements) and Asia where smaller displacement bikes are popular, they don't usually find a big market here in the states...
I got a Black Gold edition XSR900. CB650R is not that good compared to XSR900. It's slow and heavy and not torquey. XSR900's brake sucks...just like the mt09

I want to get this bike, same color for daily rider. Ergonomics, uprightness and fun are my reasons. congrats
In that colour scheme and that engine Yamaha nailed it.
Very handsome machine.
Enjoy your miles on it sir
I really enjoy your channel. I make some MT09 content. Looking forward to some of your XSR900 content
Thanks, I just subbed to your channel.

Love my Yamaha Bolt but I’d like to get this as well and keep both of them 😅

Awesome! Most of the items you listed are on my list for this bike too :)
Wouw nice bike and good colour 😎👍
I was hoping you would buy a XSR125 and modify it to a XSR155 and show us how to do this!
I don't believe the xsr125 is available to the US market though, is it?
@@eastcoastish I think it is and the 155 is available to the Asian markets! it is something more akin to your channel! making small bore big bore!
