Not really there is a reason GI joe figures back in the day did away with elastic straps they are like rubber bands the more time gose by the more it will weaken or break on its own especially if staying posed where the elastic is stretched in anyway
Great review! Saw your video after 16 mins of it released. Looked him up. And ordered him. Mezco drops out of no where. You gave a detailed review to help me with my decision. Thanks The look is from bishops first series. I had this issue back in the day as far as the cover so I dig the look. I picked him up earlier from Forbidden Planet. The dreads do get in the way, torso is decent, he's posable enough, he looks great, accessories are good. The way the cloth and plastic mix in his body are great. It's like they looked at Cable and said ok let's do better, shoulders are good.. The holster in the back... whatever He looks great next to my mezco Wolverine right now. Good height. Mezco is a hit or miss. This is a sleeper hit Def. I'm crossing fingers for Morbius.
Great review!! I liked how straight forward it was. It felt more like a true first impression of the figure than lots of other reviews out there! Liked and subscribed 👍🏻
Just got him today myself. Figured out the cape/poncho...pop his dreaded hair sculpts off wrap it around his neck and shoulders and then put the head back on. The longer hair holds it down
Mezco sent you this for an early review? You didn't post where you received this and no box? I know you don't really post but mezco boxes are pretty dope.
Yeah your Right. BISHOP is (or was originally) an Australian Aboriginal. His Dad or Grandfather was Gateway. This version looks nothing like the Jim Lee X books Bishop I grew up reading. > Maybe that dude has been replaced in the comics? I can't keep'up anymore. Although I did read the _Gillen & Land_ Uncanny relaunch through the _A vs X_ conclusion (from like A decade back) w/ the Alpha X-Extinction Team; When Colossus became The Juggernaut. Them books were Dope #MustRead stuff. "Sinister London!"
Man, imagine if Mezco just ditched cloth. Can they even do that? It would be so good. Because they have good articulation but the cloth always gets in the way. And the only time they really made a figure where the cloth doesn’t look a bit weird imo was the Black Bolt. Man they would be a whole forxe to be reckoned with if they just decided to switch to sculpted plastic figures. Imagine DC stuff. would be Crazy
@@DennyCrane_DCCollectibles basically being mafex is a good thing. The incentive to buy them(the word advantage is tricky because the only time an advantage would come into play is if we are taking about the same take on the same figure) would be they would be putting out figures that we wouldn’t get with mafex. And a lot of their figures wouldn’t look awkward when they otherwise might, with the cloth goods. And who’s to say they don’t end up making a better figure than Mafex when it comes to the same take on the same figure?
@@DennyCrane_DCCollectibles Mezco doesn’t need the cloth good novelty to thrive imo, now I understand there is a market for it, so that is a tricky topic to address, if they made the switch a lot of people would still want clothed figures, but on the flip, a lot of people would also be happy with the new direction
@@DennyCrane_DCCollectibles I’d even go far as to say a lot of the time it’s MAFEX that don’t have a whole lot of an advantage, over like Marvel Legends because they don’t really go the extra mile with the designs of their figures like Mezco do. Don’t get me wrong their figures are clearly better than Marvel Legends but like, for the price, is it really necessary to buy a MAFEX wolverine, or Cyclops? Like a lot of the time you could find yourself saying, yea, I’m okay with the VHS Cyclops, I’m good with Marvel Legends Wolverine. Now if you look at Revoltech Gambit, now that has a clear advantage over anything Marvel Legends will put out. With Mafex the main advantage is really accessories and articulation. So imagine if Mezco was doing pure plastic figures, with how thwy like to add their own stylistic twist to the figures. they might be a real force to be reckoned with, in terms of design/aesthetic at least.
Can't wait.
To scalp It in a raffle? Poor Guy. Must be needing money
@@vitorrodrigues7698 maybe. How would that affect your legacy though?
Looking forward to some photos. Salute.

Damn, they fixed all what was wrong with Cable. The ab range surprised the hell out of me.👌🏻🔥
It surprised me too tbh lol I’m super happy the armor was split too
the way they did the shoulder pads are how they should always be done
Facts
seen some issues of these easily breaking off, on the mezco group

I’m loving the improvements. I wish the cable was on a similar body because he is very stiff and difficult to get to look natural. Nice review man 👍🏽
I wish they’d redo cable and I also wish mezco was still making characters in 3s I’d love a Jim lee look from there
Great review!! I liked how straight forward it was. It felt more like a true first impression of the figure than lots of other reviews out there! Liked and subscribed 👍🏻
Looks even better than expected. I should see him next week, can't wait
Getting mines this week, seeing how excited you are, I am hype.
After watching your review I had to get it, so I purchased it. It looks dope! Thanks for the review!
This is a dope ass figure!!! Thanks for the early review my G.
Just received mine yesterday. Going to open it up in a bit. Glad Mezco used the time to improve the elbows.
Me too, I wouldn’t have upset at single joints either but always prefer double joints
I love watching this bc I also want to take apart brand new figures just to see .
Damn, I just got mine I wish more figures had this kind of make with care & quality, worth the money.
just picked him up on BBTS. cant wait.
Great video as always. Do you know or think the chest armor could come off to make him look more Jim Lee style?
same question.
I believe so, but I’m not entirely sure atm
Just got him today myself. Figured out the cape/poncho...pop his dreaded hair sculpts off wrap it around his neck and shoulders and then put the head back on. The longer hair holds it down
No thanks lol, I like the one I replaced it with tbh
Yup he’s a banger! Great vid brotha!
Now we just gotta hope the morbius that went up about a month before comes out within the next year or two 😭😭
I still need to po that one lol
Great review, that figure looks amazing!
Thank you!
wasn't their a quality control issue with the shoulder
Was unbeknownst at the time to me as mine was fine.
@@KitbashCustomsdoes both arms have the same range of movement? Left arm is fine, right arm snaps when trying to rotate it.
Mines arms were frozen in place and fucking snapped off when I went to move them forward. What a way to ruin the experience of opening a great piece.
Damn.
Same. I went through 4 of them on Amazon, and all 4 had the frozen arm. Snapped 2 of them. F this figure.
Looking great. Might swap him with my Legends Bishop.
Great looking figure.
Bishop is my favorite character
Very cool. I would love if they did the Omar Sy version also.
Very cool figure I wish we could get more black , Mexican, Karen and all the other race characters made more

Nope bought and paid for like everyone else’s just got here quick
Nice. The items for the utility belt really fit?
They really fit and don’t even come out
Can’t wait to get mine, what comic issue was that? And they do need to make cable again but taller.
It’s from bishop the last x-man
@@KitbashCustoms thanks!
Very realistic look, doesn't look like the classic Gold team comic varient

@kitbash customs Yo that is dope, I’m looking for it now
🔥
Does he heavy?
nice review. tempted.
Great review
do the sleeves roll up at all?
Not sure, haven’t tried
Cool looking figure
That had to be a mistake… why would you need two trigger hands for the same hand?
Fire pick up!!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Cool action figure
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
He was always gonna be double jointed idk what people are talking about.. cable had double.. most if not all marvel have double
Dude doesn't come with any weapon blast effects. Accessories wise I felt its less packaged
I’m here for it!!!
Me too
The numbers are growing, lol.

Cool figure but not the best they've ever done. Steel box wolverine is!
Wolverine is nice, but def not the best
Are you supposed to tie that wrap on? That's the only thing that isn't 100% dope about this figure.
I was told you have to like literally wrap it around him
F@$k Bruh now I’m gonna have to find that predator just for the cape
Ahab pred should be kinda easy to get rn it rereleased a couple months ago
