"When windy in Key Largo" Thank you Heiko for sharing your amazing fishing adventures and ocean conservation efforts, you are truly awesome!! Thank you!! 🪝🐟🐠
Ughh i miss inshore snapper fishing. Spent 28 years in brevard county, they were always one of my favorite targets. Inshore is incredible here in the Chesapeake Bay, but i cant wait to get back to my snapper, tarpon and snook! More back country videos please!
Hi Heiko, great vid as usual. I’ve been meaning to suggest for you to do what you guys just did for awhile. I think it’s a great alternative on those windy days. Keep it up! Here’s another suggestion… tow your inflatable or your jon boat with you & get into those places your big boat can’t. Question, was all that action at the Bogies? Thanks for keeping up always entertained.
@@SouthFloridaFishingChannel yesssssssss i've been following you for a (very) long time but only recently found out we share two interests. a trackday video will be awesome! plus, it might bring you some new viewers who then stick around for the lifestyle fishing (: (who doesn't like lifestyle fishing??)
If you get a food processor you can chunk up the fish head and carcass after you fillet them then toss them into the food processor and wala... FREE CHUM!!!!! Just bag it and freeze it! Chum aint cheap😁🐟
A whole lot of people might like to think that but the stuff you grind up out of those type of fish is not oily enough to draw the other fish up to the boat your best ad about a half gallon of fish oil to that mix
You have like 50 of those electric bikes. Time to start with the giveaways LOL. How funny, we always go to Snooks when we are down in the Keys every few feeks. Not far from your regular haunt.
see trout and snook love Rootbeer Plastic on a gig for Trout fish open water or channels never caught them much in the mangroves. Enjoy the Lazzy Lobster tonight I love that pace. You recommended it to me also love Shipwercks
At some point haiko I will be in the Florida Keys and I'm waiting to meet you I fished 4 years in the 80s four years in the 90s on charter boats out of Holiday Isle have a wealth of knowledge I'd like to share on that area there's a lot more options than you are aware of I believe
So when you say back country what does that mean I work in the keys and fish off the bridges a lot just bought a gheenoe wanted to see where I can wonder off too
@@SouthFloridaFishingChannel I’m new to all this message thing. I am interested in that pole? We will be at the KOA on the second to last key on Friday- Sunday after Thanksgiving. We really want to talk to you. I had 1 too many beers and can’t type right now!
I just thought you can use the big net to put your live bait in it and then lift it up so you don't even need a dip net so they're in the water and then lift up all your baits but then the holes are probably too big and then you wont have a net to land fish with but hey that's an idea sorta like an Engel live bait cooler.
Hey. Do you guys do charters? I'm coming down with family and would be by myself. Staying right near where you are fishing. Would love to drink some beers and have never fished the bay. Great video btw. Just discovered you guys.
Fishing in-shore is the way to go when the winds and waves off-shore are unrelenting. "Though I've belted you and flayed you, By the livin' Gawd that made you, You're a better man than I am, Heiko (sic) Din!" (My apologies to Rudyard Kipling). Maybe try some FAR In-Shore (2600 miles inshore) Fishing techniques and bait next time. Rig up a 1/16 to 1/8 weighted jig with a curly tailed plastic jig or a 2-1/2 inch tube worm jig and tip it with something attractive (nightcrawler, worm, piece of shrimp, piece of cut bait, POWER BAIT, corn (chum with frozen corn), a mini-marshmallow . . . the options are endless. I actually caught a large trout with a rig tipped with a piece of mostly chewed Bazooka Bubble Gum.
It’s a good thing Dan is Married, I don’t think Key Largo could handle Two Pimps! Especially one who can make 400 lbs of ice per day…. Rock On and Fish On!! Micky C
You need to be a little more aggressive when you set the hook. You lost a lot of fish because of simply setting the hook. i'm just somebody from the outside looking in , but that seems like thats a problem? I enjoy your videos

You and Dan are such great friends love watching both your channels
Heading out tomorrow morning for Everglades side of Blackwater Sound. Putting my boat in this afternoon if the wind dies down at any point today.
Glad to see the osprey nest is still.active and intact.
The pirate ship sure has turned into an eye sore after these past few storms.
Awesome video man!!! The new bike is so nice!
Heiko, next time use the cast net to get the bait from the livewell
Thank you for your review video! Wishing you an enjoyable and smooth ride with Velowave Ebike!🚴♂
Loving the bike!
I have two pink passion rods I love them!
Those backcountry snapper fishing trips are a lot of fun. Not every trip has to be offshore hard fishing.

come on over!
Ya gotta love that Ice maker its a great investment for fishing everyday!😁🧊❄️
I like the fact that you guys release fish that you don't necessarily need to keep. That's good Karma, my friend.
Rockin'. Dig the mang fishing.
Gettin' one of those filet knives.. ⚓️⛵️

I have to try the lazy lobster one day , damn that looks tasty . Great video Heiko
super tasty! You'll have to go next time you're down

Simple fun fishing , sometimes it the best times .. Good times with friends and a few beers 🍻 don’t get much better than that.. Tight Lines 🎣🎣😎👍🏼
Great video! Thanks for sharing.
Yea, finger mullet are hard to grab in a live well, but, hard tails,(blue runners) in a round well,😂
yea they are little rockets in the livewell!
You guys should provide locations on the GPS
Jacks are awesome eating.
Love your videos, buddy.
Lazy Lobster is my go to for this snowbird. Best Ahi tuna in the Keys
You guys should provide locations on the GPS
Jacks are awesome eating.
Tackle is very heavy for backside Key Largo.
You need to get yourself a baitrunner reel, the most versatile reel out there
Heiko,
You can NEVER have TOO MUCH ice, beer or bait!😉
Gurl's Bike!
Put a corner of the cast net in the live well and scoop one up haha
Try trout cove not far from were you were at. Left side towards trout creeks is an opening back to a cove area that has nice snook, tarpon, and trout
Is this the time of year when you can catch grouper in the backcountry on big plugs and swimbaits?

Juicy mangroves baby!!! Delish! Cheers! 🍻
Glad to see you got the icemaker. You will be kissing it every day you go out fishing. Beats lugging ice from the local minimart.
Use the lead line of your cast net when you forget your hand net for live well I have to do the same thing sometimes 🤦
How can a get a boat daddy fishing pole pink and white?

Hey, no I don't do charters. I leave that to the professionals! My boy Casey with Sea Senorita charters out of Tavernier catches a lot of fish
Was that bigger snapper a mangrove or was it a juvenile Cubera?
Dan throws a bannana🤣🤣🤣
You had a bait net touching the live well. Dip a piece of your throw net in the live well
Waiting patiently to see Elliott's camera footage.
YEAH!!!!.....BACK COUNTRY TRIPS.....NO ARTIFICIALS.....ALL NATURAL BAITS....DO IT DUDE!!!!
Yeeeew!

You lose most of your fish because you set the hook like a girl….😂 Try striking the fish with some power and you’ll catch more fish. Just sayin.
Sucks
Circle hooks you just reel, no need to strike, lees gut hook baby snapper 😊
