Ok, if in the video you compare the cabin of the first A380 flight to the second one, there are some noticeable differences. But could someone explain please how the new Emirates economy class refurbishment they are installing now into the whole fleet is actually an improvement? Because what I can see is they removed the touch screen remote, seatback cup holder, seatback charging outlets, the 2-fold tray table, made the seats and the arm rests thinner, and they call it...an "upgrade"? Like what! Did really no one else notice this?

I did, and I completely agree with you.
Good news Is… the second A380 is actually one of the refurbished A380s, they’re keeping those seats, they’re only changing the seat colors, walls, added a leather headrest. But kept the screens, the controller etc untouched.
Only the last few A380s that were delivered have the newer seats, and they’ll probably not going to be added to the refurbished ones like we’ve seen.
