I really like Sub Zero, but I have fond memories of the Batwoman. I owned a video game called Rise of Sin Tzu, and a trailer for Mystery of the Batwoman was one of the unlockable bonuses. I kinda wish the Sin Tzu game became a movie, too.
Good video man, really appreciate Sub-Zero getting some love, very underrated imo. Also I noticed you didn't mention or bring up a certain scene in the Batwoman movie with Barbara Gordan . . . . hmmm?
@@FictionAddiction Fair enough man, mostly I found it funny that you skipped it was cause it's the one scene that most fans of either the series or Batman in general tend to dislike a lot.
Great coverage of the 2 forgotten Batman films! Takes are all pretty much spot on.. comedy was noticeably upped or at least more frequent.. great job Esh!
I love Subzero. Almost as great as Mask Of The Phantasm. BTW, did you know that it was supposed to have been released in 1997, but after the debacle that was Batman & Robin Bruce Timm and Alan Burnett decided to push the release back a year and it did work to the movie's success.
Kinda surprised there was no Poison Ivy centric animated film made to also promote/compliment Batman & Robin like Sub Zero. It would've been a great opportunity to further explore BTAS Pam's character, not to mention her back story, which never was in the show itself. Pretty Poison is an excellent introductory episode, but it isn't an origins story.
It may simply be that they felt she already had a LOT of episodes to her name and they felt they told as many stories with her as they cold at the time. She's got considerably more than Mr. Freeze, at least. And she does feature heavily in Batman and Harley Quinn, at least. 20 years late, but hey. Better late than never.
Good review. I remember watching Mystery of the Batwoman and thinking it was Ok. But the twitch that there was three woman sharing the Batwoman identity I got very fast. As a fellow dane, I hope that you will be covering more Danish animation in the future.
I am quite a bit behind on animated DC Movies myself! But I do second Under the Red Hood being pretty dang good. At least I thought so when I saw it way back when.
Mystery of the Batwoman still squicks me out cuz it reminded us that Bruce is actively pursuing younger women...Babs deserves a less creepy ship. That said Efrem Zimbalist Jr. is still PEAK Alfred, may he rest in peace.
At this point in history, if you don't know Batmans origin by now I'm seriously concerned you've lived inside with no access to any technology of any kind. The other characters? Sure, but we def don't need Batmans origin everytime he's seen
My top three are all basically tied for first... Mask of the Phantasm, Sub-Zero, and Under the Red Hood. Obviously MotP is the most impactful to the franchise. But I think S-Z a better script with less plot holes/contrivances and holds up better against scrutiny.
What's YOUR favorite Batman movie? Which one of these two do you prefer?
Of these two.... Sub-Zero
@@FictionAddiction Either Dark Knight or Batman 89. Of these two, Sub Zero seems more interesting.

@@masedaace5473 I love Sin Tzu. Fun beat-em-up. And Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa gave a great villain performance.
I think it was Batman Arkham night. It was the anthology Batman movie. Probably not the best, but I'd say it was underrated
It's been confirmed that Gotham City is the DC comics equivalent of New York, which has a population of 7.9 million people.
That intro was *chef’s kiss*
Haha, thank you! Came to me kind of randomly, but I thought it was funny.
Mystery of the Batwoman feels like Batman teaming up with Charlie’s Angels
Kinda, yeah. Though they only work together at the very end

It was irrelevant to the recap of the plot and didn't really have any jokes to make about it.

6:00 at least New York sized, based purely on the animated universe.
Always love seeing an upload from you
Thank you! I realize I have been slow this year, but I've just being stuff on my other channels.
@@FictionAddiction no worries. There's a lot of your reviews that I keep coming back to. Helps hold me over for the next review
Great job dude! i love watching my favorite fursuit crusader live out his OC vigilante dreams!

Someday I need to properly watch these flicks. Sure, they're no Mask of the Phantasm or Under the Red Hood, but seem to be fun in their own right.
I am quite a bit behind on animated DC Movies myself! But I do second Under the Red Hood being pretty dang good. At least I thought so when I saw it way back when.

mask is good because if you never saw batman, it has the origin. The other two need you to already know the characters.

I refuse to acknowledge cold comfort it’s fucking stupid
Bat goodness all the way
what do you think about Superman: Brainiac attacks?
@@berniedavis6676 much as I enjoy Superman TAS, I don't think I ever saw that one.
@@FictionAddiction it's kinda up their with mystery of the bat woman. it's ok but not great.
Subzero will always be Mr Freezes true send off to me in the Dcau
The Batman Beyond episode is good and all, but sometimes it's nice to see a villain get a good ending.
Like Ventriloquist. His episodes are great!
My favourite Batman movie is Under the Red Hood. Of these two Subzero.
Both good choices!
Oh man! It said Gotham City, NY! So Gotham is in NY, not NJ.
Lol 😂😂😂 was funny as hell
Glad you had fun!
Your avatar on the thumbnail is looking pretty “cool”. lol
Thank you, I did my best to make it look n-ice
