That was great! I really liked her remix of her previous songs that she used on the show. BTW, this was from I believe March, 1999 when Howie still used to have a full head of hair. He would shave it all off about a year later to the one that he looks like today.

You know what BeautifulOnes, there was a time in mainstream music where the artist were idolized for their talent and not so much for the way they looked. The fans used to emulate their favorite artists' vocal talents to the point that they would ask their favorite artist about their training technique and how much do they practice, regardless of how they looked. This doesn't happen anymore and that's sad. You didn't have to be a beauty queen or a runway model to be talented.

As for the style of music she was doing when she was 26, it was age appropriate considering it was all about romance, committment or the lack thereof , sexuality and infidelity. It may not have been widely accepted by the mainstream media, but again, I disagree with you, it was accepted by a more mature audience with very well received reviews.

I totally beg to differ with you on the comparisons between Shanice and Beyonce. Shanice is a true gifted singer with a 5 octave range and uses it very well. Beyonce is an entertainer who can sing but has a very limited vocal range. Shanice is in the category of females called , Colouratura spopranos a.k.a "Whistle Singers". At best, B is a 2nd soprano. There is a vast difference between the two performers.Shanice is a gifted singer who can dance. There really isn't any comparisons at all.
