I worked for Amtrak October 1995-November 2002 as An Onboard Service Attendant I started working for Amtrak on The AutoTrain (first Trina at beginning of the video) I worked on AutoTrain October 95-April 1997 then out of Washington DC AutoTrain was phasing out the heritage equipment seen in this video the sleeping cars was already Superliner Equipment and the coach section still had the heritage cars with the dome car and the buffet car shortly after I started the coach section became Superliner Equipment
This is the Amtrak I knew and loved - F40s, long consists, heritage equipment, tri color striping etc. That era of 1985 to 1995 was when I took most of my Amtrak trips - great memories!
It all depends on what you’re interested in and where you are located. There are lots of on-line sites that can help you. Also, try to find some local railfans that can provide info.
Oh yeah i love uk and USA trains but here is a problem what about loud horns when i see videos of trains i always think about the film guy it could be that the film guy does not care or they do
