Let's be real: In the six years (SIX YEARS?!) since this film came out, we just haven't be able to shake it--its two main characters, its gorgeous soundtrack, its dreamy landscapes--from our hearts and minds. That being said, this was a beautiful, evocative playlist. Grazie mille!
CMBYN is THE best film ive ever seen. its cinematography, its dialogue, its chemistry between each and every actor. and even its music score. gosh, i could go on for HOURS about how much this movie means to me. but in short, no movie will ever be as good as CMBYN is. and i love it for that. it captures the simple essence and beauty of life itself
never have I ever witnessed such a mystical movie, that casts its spell on you to just wonder about it, long for it to happen in your own life, forever. It leaves you to desire for your first love, that is both warm, lively, and abandons you curious, melancholic.
Wow..... The first lines of the first song..." Its been a while since i memorized your face, its been about four hours now since i ordered from your place. " Tonight i went to a grill bar place with my bestie and dad. We went to visit a guy that works there. We knew him from our school, and both used to talk to him a lot the past couple winters. I liked him a lot. Too much; but i was younger then. Good times. I'm convinced now that he never liked me that way (quite obvious now). But anway, we went to visit him tonight. He was working in the back, so when a different worker came by for our orders, we asked him to tell *name* that two girls were waiting for him 😅😂. He then came out and we talked for a little while before he went back to work. But it was so odd. The person i used to not be able to walk past without smirking, i used to rerun every interaction with, i now spoke to as a normal, average person and soon (much too soon) forgot about it. And he didnt seem to care either way, just carried on with life. Its so strange how things can change like that. - Random 1:00 am thoughts by a stupid highschool girl ❤
