@03:39, when excavating you can place the dice in any space less than or equal to the value of the die away from the excavator. E.g., using a 5 die, you can place the die in any space up to 5 spaces in front of the excavator to move it that far.
Hi, nice video! I was a fan of the series untill the last cycle that took a different road, but ok, so this really looks interesting! Still, even though I read the rules when there was a contest in bgg for a copy (did not win as usual) and seiing you explain it, and you do it well, it still seems a bit complicated. Other than that, I think that is a very good idea and if I run across it in a game store I probably would pick it up, mostly because I am a solo player. (English is not my native language, I am Greek, so sorry for any mistake)
I know this is an old comment but after playing the game, I have to say it's MUCH easier to understand while playing than when you watch it like this. It's actually quite straight forward and it only took me one game until I basically had it. I felt like you before playing it and watching a few videos. I can definitely recommend it.
I'm not sure he placed the robot die correctly (7:03)...the rules state that when installing a robot (or, when placing your white/grey die in the build-a-robot room) you must immediately place the robot die in any empty excavated room. So, I think the newly excavated rooms during the rooms activation phase would not be available. ...or have I been playing incorrectly?
I've played it like he does in the video. The rules say you can resolve dice in any order you like. So if you excavate and then place the robot I feel this should be legal. As for the "immediately place" I read it as immediately when resolving that dice. Otherwise you should read it immediately when placing the dice (which is in the dice phase and not the room phase. The rules clearly says robots are placed in the rules phase and never in the dice phase). Otherwise I'd assume they would have added text that say it has to be resolved first. I could be wrong ;)
Hello! New York's ability is you can only have 1 robot, but it adds 1 to the value of the robot. So the 5 he placed turns into a 4, but New York raises it back up to 5. Hope this helps!
Unfortunately, one of your turns was illegal as there were two working dice in the column 4 and none in column 3 (ruclips.net/video/559Z641dGVQ/видео.html).
Hi David! Sorry I missed your comment and took so long to reply. It was already noted at 24:35 in the Klingon subtitles. If there are any another instances that were not already noted, let me know. Thanks!

The white 5 was rerolled after playing the grey 3 @16:15. I'm pretty sure the dice only get rerolled after placing the white dice?
You forgot to roll the dice after using a white one at 16:00

@@nihlify You are correct. The robot is placed when you resolve the die in the robot room, which could be done after the excavator die is resolved.
Thanks, good video. I replaced the dull looking myself, otherwise a great game. Hard, but nice.
@20:00 you forgot to reroll
I have added a note to the Klingon subtitles. Thanks for the help! :)
After watching this i will definitely buy the game
The robot you placed around 7:15 should have been a 4 since the room had a -1 on it.
