American Alligators are Blackish Grey vs Crocodiles are light greenish. Alligators have a U shaped Mouth and Crocodiles have a V shaped Mouth. A Large Alligator being found in Florida is 9 feet long. I've only heard of a 14 feet Alligator but I never seen one or heard of anyone who has, could be possible since everyone say they can get to 14 feet. I thought 9 feet was Large but to know some Crocodiles can get to 20 Feet is Amazing to know! Nice video and yes Technically Alligators and Crocodiles are somewhat related it's just Habitat and Behavior and size are different. The only Crocodiles I've seen in America are in a Zoo. Largest Saltwater Crocodile ever caught (and ever measured properly) was caught in the Philippines (if I remember correctly called it Ling Ling or something like that) was just over 27ft long and he was put in the zoo as during the monsoon season where everyone gets around on boat (and during the dry season the houses are on like 10-15ft stilts you find out when the water is gone. But during the monsoon people sit on their porches and fish with their feet in the water as the water comes up that much! Anyway this male Saltwater Crocodile was eating people who were fish on their porches by just grabbing their leg/s as they were in the water. But they caught him (whole village and an Aussie croc hunter) measurements were taken like length, weight etc and was biggest one ever caught (pictures can be found on Google and their is a picture of the croc tied on a basic trailer and you think can’t be real but it is as it,was taken during this National Geographic program they were filming about them catching this “man eating Salty”
i’m from louisiana so i see alligators quite often, 8-9 ft gators are kind of average for an adult and 13-15ft gators are big for us. i’ve never seen a 15 foot gator but the state record was 19feet and 2 inches so they can get well over 15 feet
@Jordan Oby wow I never knew that. I know the one that ate a little boy in Orlando Florida near Disney was 9 feet. And I thought that was big just looking at it walk across a Golf Course ⛳️ on video.
I’ve seen some big ones 10/12 ft while fishing at the local lake, they pulled a 11’6 800lbs one out of the swimming area back in 2009. The big ones tend to stay in the smaller slew and away from most of the well traveled places around the lake.
As a Florida resident, I have to correct your statement that the American alligator is another name for an American crocodile. It's just false. Completely different creatures and we have both in Florida which is a unique thing. That's the only reason I care, because we are unique in having both.
Strongest in americas 1 - american crocodile ( central, south and north america ) 2 - Orinoco crocodile ( south america ) 3 - black caiman ( south america ) 4 - american alligator ( north america ) Black caiman is just a agressive version of alligator. And they eat people.
An entertaining video but like so many others mentioned earlier, you have completely mixed up the American croc & the American alligator! You really should know better by now & I was really disappointed by this error. The American croc is definitely the bigger (& more dangerous) of the two & reaches a maximum length of around 20 ft, whilst the American alligator is smaller & reaches maximum length of around 15 feet. I commend you, however, for stating correctly that the Orinoco croc reaches a maximum length of 22 ft. Of course, at that length, it would be very close in size to the largest saltwater crocs. In fact, I believe that the Orinoco croc is the second largest species of extant crocodiles. On a negative note, YOU UNDERPLAYED THE MAX LENGTH OF THE SALTWATER CROCODILE - I’ve read several well documented accounts of salties reaching 22 to 23 ft in length. You have also UNDERESTIMATED THE MAXIMUM SIZE OF THE FALSE GHARIAL as the size of their massive skulls (some rivalling giant saltwater crocs in size) point to a total length of AT LEAST 18 ft.
My favorite Crocodiles on here are The Saltwater Crocodile, The American Crocodile, The Orinoco Crocodile, The Nile Crocodile, The Mugger Crocodile & The Cuban Crocodile. Including The Indian Gharial & The False Gharial. Hmm, I think there’s 1, 2, 3 or 4 other True Crocodiles missing. I know, The Morelet’s Crocodile, The African Slender Snouted Crocodile, The Philippines Crocodile & The Siamese Crocodile. Those last few are Large enough & Powerful enough.

Saltwater crocs had killed many people in Borneo, Malaysia.A few months ago in January, a 7 year old boy had been killed and eaten by a 20ft saltie while playing at the river bank with his sisters. His remains nor the croc was yet to be found by the authorities. Before that, an elderly man too had been killed by the croc too while casting his netline at the river.Furthermore the village was near estuarine and river mouth where salties roam around. This took place back in Kuching, Sarawak territory, Malaysia.Actually, there are many cases of croc attacks back here in Borneo but I couldn't tell much because we need to respect the victim's family privacy and emotions. In addition to my story, saltwater crocodile were among the overpopulated crocodiles in the world. In Malaysia alone I guess they may be hundred thousands of them lurking in our coastal areas, estuarine and river mouths. In Sarawak, hunting for crocodile is now at the beginning stage to control the population. But still some people won't take up due to their culture and beliefs especially the Iban race. The Ibans who still practice their old beliefs believe that crocodiles were their reincarnated ancestors. One folklore story is famous, the 'Bujang Senang', the story about an Iban warrior who had been cursed into a crocodile. And apart of the story, the Ibans really respect crocodiles as they regard it their deceased ancestor's reincarnation. The state government now however had release the permit and license to hunt down as many crocodiles as a part of population control programme.Crocodile flesh and skin were among the expensive items brought from the hunt and hunters can make money from it.Of course for those who dared to take the risk here.

The Nile croc is more aggressive than the Saltie, has a stronger bite force, and claims the most human lives out of any crocodilian and even animal. If I’m not mistaken, the Nile crocodile is the 3rd most deadliest animal in the world. And most Nike crocs weigh more than saltwater crocs. You completely mixed up the stats between the American Alligator and American Crocodile even though you made a species account for both species. The range maps shown were the only thing correct for both species. The Alligator is endemic to the United States. The American Crocodile is the one that ranges farther south and into salt water. In fact, the American Crocodile is the only other species that frequents salt water as often as Salt Water Crocs.
There was a case were a croc was stuck up a tree due to it biting an aldult elephants trunk and getting flipped up into a tree.yes they will actively try to kill juviniles but due to them being protected by parents it’s rare.
I seriously doubt it as I can’t see any crocodile bring down a rhinoceros and definitely not an elephant as I can see them stamping and crushing a crocodile. Seen a Nile Crocodile take on an adult male hippo and the hippo won! Hippo was a complete bad ass as the croc had just grabbed a bison (dunno if bison is proper name) from a group who to the river for a drink. All other bison ran up the river bank and watched as the croc had the bison by the throat pulling it down as it “screamed”. Male hippo come in, bit the side of the croc and rolled it over so the croc “ran” up on the bank the hippo chased it ran over it and rolled it over using its mouth, then trampled it again killing it
Near Tana River there has been a confirmed report of one female rhino which was attacked by a nile crocodile than it got lose from the crocodile grip and went in the water to fight the crocodile but that crocodile was joined by 3 other crocodiles and they grabbed and drowned the rhino. I don't believe this honestly.

They are able to set traps, cooperate with hunting, use tools, strategise and calculate a prey drinking routine, calculate an exact position and timing for an attack etc. They don't use brute strength for an attack because they don't need to.
Big cats are much more intelligent than a crocodile.
Crocodilians are as dumb as a fencepost, they hunt by instinct.
@@chalkandcheese1868 Not at all. They have been known to be quite intelligent when it comes to hunting, if you look it up.
@@guitarist2463 No, they have tiny brains, they don't use intelligence they use millions of years of evolution. If it works you don't need high intelligence.

All the internet armchair crocodile experts in this thread coming out of the woodwork
For the American crocodile, he called it an American alligator straight after.
BLACK CAIMAN GETS MY VOTE. ❤
I saw that salties have even stronger bite force than nile crocs ...
Hebrew 6 verse 10
God is fair. He will not forget the work you did and the love you showed for him by helping his people. And he will remember that you are still helping them.
It’s pretty clear the most deadliest is the Nile, not the Saltwater.
Bro American alligator and American crocs are 2 different species. Please don't be lazy and think of them as the same, they have key differences.
Beautiful get show crocodile King out of here ain't trying to be a cylon
Why I will never step foot in the water again.
Mugger crocodile should be number 4 it's 18 feet and stronger than a gator cuban croc gharial false and gharials they are only rivaled by nile American and saltwater crocodiles maybe black caimans are also stronger but I'm not sure

Please make a alligator vs crocodile part 2 I love you my king
American alligator and American crocodile are 2 different animals
You accidentally swapped your audio for the American Alligator and the American Crocodile. Probably should fix that and re-post the video lol.
You forgot the spectacled caiman.
Gharials can reach 2000 lbs and are one of the largest crocodilians in the world. Also American alligators and American crocodiles are completely different species😂
Many people confuse American crocodile and American alligator
Saltwater crocodiles can exceed 28 feet and Niles crocodiles exceed 23 feet.
are you mad?
@Juhanaan Lyngdoh what? 😂
You mixed up the alligator and American crocodile
Caimans don’t get that big they only can go up to 15 ft at most
India is home to three types of Crocodilians:
Marsh/Mugger Crocodile
Gharial
Saltwater Crocodile
Brazil is home for 7 crocodilians, 6 are caimans

Deinosuchus 🐊
Crocs have a far stronger bite force than gators . It's been proven scientifically.
What's their one rep max?
Still surprise that sarcosuchas arent crocodilians
Isn't sarcosuchas a species of prehistoric crocodilian?
@@ispeakmandarin they are said to be closer to 🐢 turtle
@@legiondevil3524 Don't they look like false gharials?
Bro really put saltwater above nile
Imagine Lions, Tiger's and Jaguars kill these beasts
You completely mixed up the stats between the American Alligator and American Crocodile even though you made a species account for both species. The range maps shown were the only thing correct for both species. The Alligator is endemic to the United States. The American Crocodile is the one that ranges farther south and into salt water. In fact, the American Crocodile is the only other species that frequents salt water as often as Salt Water Crocs.
India is the home of Saltie, Mugger and Gharial.....what a diversity!
Brazil is home for 6 kind of caiman, and somethimes orinoco crocodile swim in rivers of brazil, so 7 crocodilians.
I thought the Nile crocs had a bite force closer to 5k?
No
Thats the maximum estimated, but yes, is closer to 5000.
Tiger shark vs Narwhal
I don't know why but the most aggressive crocodiles live in my country :/
Guess. 1. Salti 2. Nile
I personally bealive current rexy>>prime Buck but Buck does have better design than rexy
Has there ever been a case of a crocodile killing an elephant and rhino?
Male hippo come in, bit the side of the croc and rolled it over so the croc “ran” up on the bank the hippo chased it ran over it and rolled it over using its mouth, then trampled it again killing it
@@nichhodge8503 Probably a Cape buffalo
Near Tana River there has been a confirmed report of one female rhino which was attacked by a nile crocodile than it got lose from the crocodile grip and went in the water to fight the crocodile but that crocodile was joined by 3 other crocodiles and they grabbed and drowned the rhino. I don't believe this honestly.
@@derekrobertson60388 Yes. Adult healthy Nile crocodiles are the only predators who single handedly kill Cape buffalo but full grown nile crocs not subadult
Gharials are massive but not that dangerous
Gharial should not even be on the list. their jaws are too small and weak.
Bro animals know the difference between humans and other animals.
the strongest compared to size? or strongest over all? because if its strongest over all then its simply the largest crocs. and otherwise it should be compared to weight. and what you mean with strongest. you mean strongest bite? or strongest body over all. including tail strength and swimming and running speed.
