I like to imagine that no matter how the kerbal dies, even if it's all the way at jool, he just inexplicably shows up to work at KSC the next day and pours himself a cup of coffee.

I'm pretty sure that kerbals who was pulled with the rocket survived, you can still hear him and stuff so when the rocket titles horizontal he probably grabbed on top and when the rocket ran out of fuel it's parachute deployed and no one was hurt! 😁👍
accidentally watched it in a loop 3 times. It was still hilarious, Jeb keeps selling the kerbal faulty rockets and the kerbal keeps coming back because Jeb's scrapyard is the only place he can afford.
I'm not sure where they got the sound effects for HL1, but they seem to pop up everywhere. Especially the clang sound of a crowbar hitting metal, I've heard that one a lot. My guess is that it's some popular sound effect library that is offered for licensing.
