I liked your story about getting a Krosan Tusker countered by Force of Will. I one time hardcasted Drift of Phantasms to protect against a flying threat. Flexible cards are great, because if you play enough you will eventually run into the edge case where having a 6/5 or a 0/5 flyer is the right play.
I am not really a CEDH player but i have been experimenting with upping the power of my decks. I have had some success with “Pedantic learning” and I was wondering how you would rate that as a Budget card.
Probably not, since you don't have access to black or blue, and Radha generates little advantage on her own. Plus she only combos with Aggravated Assault. Either of the Mono Red Nehebs are probably better. Even though you lose a color, they have distinctly stronger abilities.
As much as i think this was a cool vid. I would love to see some decklists for people who are invested into cedh but maybe dont have money for timetwister or something like that.
@@Dataloss484 it does only create one zombie token, but I would play Traumatize as a means to get card advantage in the same way that Hermit Druid does in a more competitive Sidisi deck.
i just played a game with the deck exchanging the eldraine syr for traumatize, and traumatize was key to the victory. i ended killing my opponents not with behemoth but with golgari grave troll and Svogthos, the Restless Tomb.
@@hugodiazroa I normally don't play Svogthos, because of the high activation cost and the lack of Trample or other evasion, so I'm glad that it worked out for you. But I do play Embodiment of Agonies in addition to Golgari Grave Troll as big threat on the table

Can you make a budgetless version of this?
Do you have an upgraded deck list?
I could add some cards to maybe board that would be expensive upgrades I guess. But no I don't have an unbranded list.
@@cedhtv All good. My Yarok deck is pretty much an overrun deck.
nice deck, i just played with it and won. it felt like needed more reanimation targets tho
it was against semi competitive decks and definitely felt in that category
As a budget deck hoof being the only target sounds about right really
Nezahal is a good renimator target. A budget card. But I might agree there should be more reanimator targets.
Could Grand Warlord Radha Beats be another good budget cEDH option?
Probably not, since you don't have access to black or blue, and Radha generates little advantage on her own. Plus she only combos with Aggravated Assault. Either of the Mono Red Nehebs are probably better. Even though you lose a color, they have distinctly stronger abilities.
I have to agree with MasterDecoy her. Rada is quite week. It hard to get something really good with her.
Time to proxy up a Craterhoof Behemoth! nice deck!
Hey why nobody plays food chain combo + sidisi+ dread return + tidespout tyrant 🤣😂
Food chain Sidisi. Yea it works but I am not soo sure.
@@cedhtv well, people really don't like to have all their permanents in their hands and you have an army of zombies🤣😂 food chain shuffle sidisi 😁

I think a good cedh entry deck to make a video about is the vannifar pod chain deck. The only real expensive card in that deck is protean hulk.
Also, if you don't buy from american sites this list costs even less than 150 dollars XD
Traumatize would be a good budget card for this deck build
But traumatize does still give us only one zombie token with sidisi.

yea, it very much needed the wonder in the graveyard that gave it evasion
Talk about budget edric
