You are a legit legend, Liam. I've seen many of your videos now. You get right in there with your camera and film people in a way I've never quite seen before. It's like you catch or reveal the true side of people. You have a remarkable ability to approach famous and interesting people from nowhere and get them to talk to you as if you're all just friends having a nice chat about things I want to hear. Case in point, this video. Famous snooker players happily speaking about Jimmy White. Terry Griffiths in his car about to drive away? Cliff Thorburn on the off chance? That fantastic close up of Steve Davis? This is a beautiful video.

Jimmy lifted the game out of boring mode just as Alex did before him, young people who may not have cared for the game would pick up a cue because they watched Jimmy smash a pot in with ease and saw him do things with that cue that other players could simply never accomplish.

I've got to ask every true snooker fan to follow the family tree, what I mean by that is grandad snooker was Alex the hurricane higgins, then came dad Jimmy whirlwind white, now it's the son Ronnie the rocket O'Sullivan I would not of watched snooker if it weren't for these 3 great players.if it weren't for the god father snooker wouldn't be where it is now LEGENDS ❤️
P.S I miss Alex so much

I have to disagree with Mr Thorburn on that part on calling foul on your self, i really have !! Its not unusual at all that the players do call foul on their own shot , which is a good thing !! I think snooker is one of the most honest sports we have. The competition is sometimes not the toughest to be fair ! If you look at all the theatre on a foot-ball pitch, Giro de Doping, Tonya Harding, or something with the Russian flag on, and so on !! Those other sports behavior dont take away the fact that snooker is a gentlemans-game , and that is fun to see when it happens !! Cheers…..

Alex "Hurricane" Higgins, was the one and only " People,s Champion" by a country mile, Jimmy is still a great guy . Alex made snooker watchable while he was on planet earth, it's back to as dull as dishwater, put u to sleep stuff .

What Steve says here about football vs snooker I have been saying for years. Football is a shit sport. Sorry. It just is. This game, if you don't want to call it a sport, is a game of integrity.

      What utter nonsense!
Alex Higgins was his own worst enemy. And EVERYBODY knows it.
He was unpredictable, both in his playing and in his personal behaviour.
Steve Davis was, and is, the consumate professional. He never says a bad word about anybody.
He gave an honest observation of Higgins.
And frankly, if Higgins had emulated Steve Davis, he would have been a better player for it.
