Hi Jack - really glad the lesson was useful to you and thanks very much for your comment. There are a few other Eddie Cochran lessons on this channel which may also be of interest and more being added. keep rocking and keep in touch! best wishes, Colin
You always do a nice interpretation of Eddie's work. Thanks for posting. If I ever get to Edinburgh again I'm gonna try to look you up and play some Eddie with you. (Don't worry. I'm 77 and don't travel much any more... 🙂 I'll call first.
@@paulmcmillan6010 you’re welcome Paul! Glad you got some value from the video. There’s lots more Eddie Cochran lessons on the channel which I hope will be of interest! 😊👍
Hi Chris, thanks for your comment! That seems like a reasonable compromise. It’s worth practicing with the barre shape as your finger stretch will increase over time. Cheers for now. Colin 👍
Hello Gregoire - don’t press too hard. It’s the back fingers which do the work and usually cause the strings to mute. If it’s impossible check the action (distance between strings and fretboard) . This should be as low as possible without causing fret buzz.
Amazing how a handful of chords can sound so glorious. Nice work.
Cheers for the positive feedback Sean - it's really appreciated! Thanks very much!

Dam Brother, your voice sounds like Eddie is still alive. SOB, that sounds even more like Eddie than Eddie. Well done.
Thank you my friend. I appreciate the kind feedback 😊👍
Great stuff. Been practicing this but impossible for me to stretch on the G and A barre. So I use a G7 and A7 instead. Damn fingers.

@@rockabillyrevolution just about hit it with my little finger with my Jaguar's shorter scale. My others no chance.
