Your daughter is lucky to have you, and now I am too thanks to your generous sharing- Thankyou 😊. It’s good to see an easier way to remove the window screens for cleaning too- instead of my usual wrangle struggle. Yay now my windows will always be clean 🎉❤😊.
That’s a kind thing to say Jo, sounds like you have added another job to the ‘to-do’ list😂 Kent
All your videos that I have watched so far have been on point and exactly what I needed. At first I thought I could relate because I'm also an Aussie but I soon realised it was because everything in my house needs work! Hahaha thank you for sharing your knowledge and helping us DIY noobs out 👍
Haha! Michael I feel the same way, my list of things to fix grows faster than I can repair them🤔. One thing at a time I reckon - the house isn't going anywhere 👍Kent
@@InspireDIY your video makes it seem so simple you inspired me to get to it. I've been sitting on insect screen repair and window frosting job since forever. I finally got it done tonight after watching your video! Thanks a ton 👍
Good stuff mate👌 well done
G'day from a sunny Sydney. What an informative video. Thank you. I now know I'm doing next weekend!
Thanks for the comment Beazle.. let us know how you get on👍 Kent
Inspire DIY thx mate...I’ve done it before but what I learnt from you is to buy that plastic roller...will make it far easier....I used a screwdriver before and it took much longer than if I had the right equipment.
Thank you so! Much! This is exactly the tutorial I needed and will help me so much. I didn't know its called spline or that I can reuse it. I know what I'm doing now
Well done mate, take the rest of the day off - you’ve achieved enough 👍 Kent
Great video - any tips on how to keep the mesh tight as you put the spline in? Or do you even have to? Thank you!
Hey Michelle, so long as you can keep the mesh square to the frame, the spline pulls the mesh taught as you roll it in, normally start on a long edge. Best of luck, Kent
Great video! Thanks :)
Hey JD, thanks mate, appreciate it🙂🙂Kent
Thanks - this helped me 👍
Hey Mike, I’m glad it was helpful mate🤙 Kent
Solved my problem
That's awesome, thanks for letting me know👍 Kent
Another kiwi in QLD eh mate! 😜
Is it GC or Bris you’ve also settled? It’s always one the other - and can tell in an instant the tree species in background 😜
Only problem is now mate, we are being outnumbered by these Melbourners coming up now - they’re ruining QLD to what it was!
Also - we never had to put up with any these screens back in NZ either huh! 😂
Hey Mike, yeah I hear ya , if it’s not a kiwi it’ll be a Sydney or Melbourne import here on the GC
All the best mate🤙 Kent
