Did anyone knew that, while both Koit and Laura are returning artists, Laura is (I hope I'm right) so far the only Eurovision returning artist to go back same country where she last performed? In 2005 Eurovision Song Contest was held in Ukraine and Laura performed as Suntribe.
Suntribe was just beyond awful. Unlistenable piece of garbage even for 2005. Estonia should have made a Lenna return to the Eurovision or Ivo Linna's one.
If Lenna had won, she could had also the only artist to go back same country where she last performed. Lenna was part of Vanilla Ninja back in 2005 and they represented Switzerland

Verona won more votes than Spirit Animal back then even in the Semifinal, and the amount is not insubstantial. Even if what you and many other people say is true, it doesn't really matter because I'm pretty sure even if the votes for Kerli on the last 10 minutes or so were counted, it still wouldn't bring Kerli to win the competition.
I would prefer Kerli but this isn't a bad choice. The song and vocals are good. I hope they do better on their stage performance. A good song + a good performance + impressive visuals = WINNER!!! Good luck!

They will need a normalizer effect/expander to reduce her vocals to a maximum level at the lower level parts. Or she must learn how to hold the mike to influence her vocal level
They used recorded backing vocals here, was not allowed in Eurovision until 2021, and during chorus a back-vocalist voice was matched with Koit, also not allowed in Eurovision for main vocalist to pretend to be singing, because with years Laura's singing ability has become worse since she doesn't sing so much anymore. In Eurovision it was clear because her live singing there was really bad.

I've noticed over the past couple years that, internationally, people have been wanting more obscure performances at Eurovision again. They love the strange stuff. Spirit Animal would have fulfilled what the international audience wanted. However, I suppose this will do. It's kind of boring by comparison though. The voices are pretty good.
Every song in the Eesti Laul was better than "Verona" honestly. Okay, it might scrape to the final somehow because the ESC is known for its bad taste but this song is not something I would have wanted to be associated with as a singer or as a songwriter. It is just beyond awful, it is forgettable
