Not sure why the 787B was placed between the 6 and 8 cylinder cars, it has a 4 rotor rotary engine (no cylinders technically!). You should do a video with a 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 rotor engines (yes each of those exists and you can find videos on RUclips of them)...
The fuck man ... where's the lambos? I was excited to hear an aventador rip my ears a new one ... but you had the LFA and the Pagani by the v10/v12 spots ... this is why 95% of people only watch 🤣 Jk, still though ... I think you missed a few. Make it a challenge and let the viewers vote 🤷 Edit: if you do make a challenge... give us some options please.
In my opinion, The BEST 4 cylinder sound is the 1996 Subaru WRX STI, It has a water cooling horizontal opposite 4 cylinder DOHC engine, a High octane premium gasoline engine EJ20.
As far as v8s go, i personaly believe that the twin carb 426 hemi engine is one of, if not the best sounding carburated v8s, especially if paired with a manual transmission.
My choice: 4 cylinder: Toyota AE86 (4AGE engine with ITBs) 5 cylinder: Audi 90 GTO 6 cylinder: Honda NSX (The old one) Rotary: 787B, there's no other choice 8 cylinder: Dodge Charger Daytona 10 cylinder: Lexus LFA 12 cylinder: Lamborghini Countach (The old one) 16 cylinder: Cizeta Moroder V16T
@@carter.coleman Idk it sounds too quiet for me, plus it's not very raw, it sounds like a modern German V8 And yeah size does matter, the bigger an engine is the more air and fuel it can handle, which means it can make more power The advantages that smaller V8s have is that they're more fuel efficient and lighter weight, but if you care about that you shouldn't be buying a V8, you should be buying an I4, because they also come with the same power as a V8 (sometimes even more) while being more efficient, lighter on fuel, and even lighter weight wise
Unfair! It' s the sound of the stock Wartburg 353 with 50 HP. Why you didn't take the Wartburg 353 in racing version with more than 100 HP, like you did with the other cars?
crazy that its only tuned cars and overrated cars imma be honest unpopular opinion but i think the bmw e30 m3 carries a legendary sound just search it up you wont regret it
There are some great sounding flat 4 classic Beetles out there. The best sounding to me personally is the flat 6 Porsche motor - but then I do love the flat boxer motors from VW.
i would not put the r35 gtr as one of thee best sounding engines at all but i guess it personal preferances. i would put one of the older bmw engines m50/s50, s38 , M88!! or somthing like that. and btw what about 18cylider engines ? mercedes produced some of them
... and one day, probably, youngsters / wannabe "petrol heads" will buy digital engine sound for their e-vehicles, like the same morons bought ringtones, for their software-de-fused "racecars"..... "I cry for this country!!" (Al Bundy)
You missed at least the two cylinder Saab, the two rotors Mazda RX models, the VW VR5 engines and the W16 configuration. The “best sounding cars” depicted on this video are all relative, since most of them sounded better or worse according to the fitted exhaust. To proper evaluate the best sounding cars you should only include models with stock exhaust systems… just saying… That being said, the LFA V10 is probably one of my all time favorites.
I miss some engines. You don't mentioned the line-8, the w-12 from Bently and the W-16 from Bugatti. Perhaps also the V-3 and V-5, but they are from motorcycles.
uhhhh..... when it comes to 4 cyl how come you don't have a neon srt-4 or a honda K series on here. They literally sound like Hayabusa's on steroids. Half the people in this video dont know what a damned blow off valve is listening to all that compressor surge.
In all fairness, this is not a legit take on the best sounding car for each cylinder as almost all have been highly modified. I would rather the same content but with stock motors....in the vehicles they came in. Either way, my ears need a cigarette!
What’s THE BEST sounding car EVER?🤔⬇️
lexus LFA
Edit: Ferrari f40
Honda engines you forgot that buddy 🤦🏻♂️
GT40 MK 2
@@mikemisswes Carrera GT sounds better
@AutoFreak true
That r34 with bbs wheels sounds sick af
the wheels don't make any sound tho...
@@Jerry.V i think he is trying to specify what car it is
@@Jerry.V nice one sherlock
A person who doesn't know what an r34 skyline is or what BBS wheels are will think you are talking about something else
"wake up babe, 21 outlaws posted" If u know u know xD
At 8-cylinder the 1966 Ford gt40 MKII is also worth mentioning.

787 Rotary wins by 5mil miles no doubt
Read that as 5 mile miles at first lol
Anyways totally agree

The 2 cyl and 3 cyl Saab 2 stroke is also worth mentioning 😊
I think you missed the carrera GT, not a fan of this car but what a sound.

That 4 rotor sounds like a star wars pod racer
The black LFA sounds so sexy, holy...

That Mazda tho🤤
4 cylinder - Honda Vtec
12-cylinder - Ferrari 812 superfast with novitec exhaust
Audi R8 V10 and any of the Lamborghini's V12 is not on this list
That Mercedes engine in the Zonda-R is my favorite! The NSX and M3 EVOII are worth mentioning as well 😜
I might not be good in english but in my tongue "juicy" is the best word describing this sound of Zonda.
Also you miss audi 5 cyninder👍
The lime gtr reminds me of the edit "i hear shots"
787B is my best sound.

The Mazda 787B
You missed the bmw m5 v8
0:42 two stroke.
Why no Chevy, Ford or Dodge V8?
Even a tuned Rover V8 sounds awesome!

Isn't the RX-7 a 3-rotor? Or do I need to re-read it's Wikipedia article?
@@Tornado2409 ALL RX-7 models were 2 rotor. The only Mazda to ever come out with a 3 rotor engine was the Eunos Cosmo JC.

8 cylinder is either the f1 car or a mustang gt350
@@carter.coleman Imo a V8 should be big, low pitched, and loud. And F1 V8s are high pitched and small, and mustang engines are just small
@@clutch44444 this is about sound, and the gt350 sounds insane, and size doesn't matter if it's making just as much power and much bigger motors

V8 should have been C63 AMG W204.
5 cylinder belongs to Mk2 Ford Focus RS
That car at the end, it sounded a little like Gumpert Apollo
well......except there are 2 different kinds of v8s....so when you give only one kind the spotlight it kinda doesn't leave a good taste
Bruh you forgot the best sounding 6 cylinder ever, vr6?
you should put the carrera gt it sounds like heaven
The 787B is 4 rotor, i know the rotor are not the same as pistons, but it shouldn't be in the 6 cyl rankings
My mothers car is a 16 cylinder and it's got a lot of power
My ears are filled with white after watching this #Outlaw
6 cylinders and there isnt bmw💀
Would love a n/a version of this vid!
Everyone talks about the SR20, but nobody remembers the older, and much better sounding, CA18DET. Sounds closer to an RB26DETT than a 4 cylinder.
Best sounding V12 was by far the V12 Matra , 70-80's, use on endurance cars and F1
6:26 DUDE ITS THAT ONE “I HEAR SHOTS” SOUND FROM TIKTOK!!!!!!
Of course it’s TikTok, what isn’t?
At V10 i'd personally choose the Audi R8
Crazy I got the Lego version of the 5 cylinder Audi
hey the first car from the 3 cylinder chategory is from my contry- Bulgariq
The Lancia Delta S4 the BEST!!

I'm not a mustang guy bu any means but it is still one of the sickest sounding v8s
V10 viper
That Mazda 787b is a classic
