Whenever I feel down and need a reminder why it’s OK not to be happy all the time, I come back to this lesson time and time again! We as Christians, are sold the idea that if you are not happy all of the time, you are not a ‘good’ Christian. And what is a good Christian anyway??? You ARE a Christian (not good or bad) You work everyday to transform yourself to be more like Christ. Surely, the Devil likes to attack our minds and make us feel crummy, pathetic, or like a failure. But if we are walking in the light, God will forgive us when we fall short. Don’t give up! You are worthy. God thought you to be so worthy He sacrificed Himself for you. He loves you more than you could ever know.
I thank you and give God the glory for this message because my life is so miserable but I need to live a God fearing life. God bless you brother Don and for the community who share this video. I have shared to many friends and family as a warning for living a miserable life. May God bless those who watch.🙏
Its been a year since your post. How are you today, Maggie? I am feeling wretched lately myself, getting ready to listen now. All I can say is that life is completely unpredictable. God's love is undying toward us, may we ever learn to depend on his grace by doing his will and not our own. Peace be with you, and God bless from Ohio.
Dear brother BLackwell, I would to God that all the Christians in the world would Testify of all the Good that God has done for us! This could of been another of Eden, but alas man couldn't cut it. God made away for us and just ask any God-fearing Church preacher of the church that Christ died for how to fill the emptiness that you preached of. The Bible says God chastises those He loves. I thank my God for all the rough things that come my way for I know I am not perfect and the Bible says count it all joy when trials come, they give me the assurance that God still Cares for me and hasn't turned me over to a reprobate mind. Plus the more trials I have must mean He thinks I can over come them, because He promises us not to allow more than we can bare. So the more the happier I am the more content I become. The Bible says with contentment comes great gain. This Christian life is the best part of life I have ever tasted. It has a numberless star rating! Name above all names!
