Some of Nhira’s recent recognition includes being awarded the ‘Zimbabwe Achievers Award for Excellence in Music,’ being named one of the ‘Tulsans of the Year’ by the Tulsa World news organization and being awarded the inaugural ‘Rising Servant Leader Alumnus of the Year’ by his alma mater Oral Roberts University. While maintaining a busy performance schedule, Nhira conducts outreaches for students around the world, including a backpack project that has donated thousands of backpacks to students in underserved communities.
