Please, please, please make more vids of this nature. Black Desert is so distracting that you often lose focus of stories etc when you are out questing, so i'd love to see more of this stuff - Jordine seems an interesting character. I loved how you animated the lore to suit your audience.

*strangers appearing in Olvia, not Velia. The other big part of the story is in the intro cutscene. Where the black spirit consumes all the people at Goma Naru. There were a lot of mercenaries at Goma Naru, and that's who we are (the classes of BDO). Seems kind of obvious when I explain it but a lot of people don't make that connection.
OKay, I just totally loved this video, as I am a huge fan of background story in MMO. Would love to see more. :) The thing is, in BDO lore, it is hard to really get into it in-game because as the player, we can't really understand our characters, their goal and motivations, beside please our cute(?) little budies black spirit, who mostly only tell us to kill almost everything. Right now I just have some quests to go for the last awakening, and the only thing I did was helping people by killing savage people, and I would go as far as to say that we're subtly guided by our buddies(?) to awaken him (can't see any other reason behind it). And aside from that we have almost no clues at all about those black spirits, what they could want, and what I don't get is that in this whole BG video not at any moment they did make an "appearance" or influenced anything while it seems there are lots of people who know a lot about them (such as Edan or the alchemist in Veila). So if there is any way for you to do any sort of full spoiler video for our loved character, myself and lots of people will be delighted. (also I could make shut up some of my friends who because he don't find the story interesting, only play to grind while ignoring everything else XD )

This video puts much needed context for the start of the game and why the world exists as it is (not even going to mention the in game 'intro') and I feel like it will help when trying to hook new players to BDO. No one likes to play an open world game without a soul or context. Have you looked at Nobbel87 for inspiration? In depth lore for the different major/minor races would be amazing. How important/intelligent they are, what role they play. Also a video about the main characters would be lovely - the alchemist and the secret society. Inter town relationships can be fun too like the story the guys tell in the Velia inn. Marni's lab and the petrifying disease in Keplan are also interesting. Lore about the main farm spots (how Calpheon is trying to integrate the Catfish, Al rhundi's rebels which you covered, or the scarlet monastery, neutral zone orcs)
Nicely done. Like many other things about BDO you can't just skim the surface. Basically anyone who did a shallow, superficial review on BDO or made comments like there is no End Game, no story, nothing to do...proved their limitation when it comes to comprehension of more complex gaming systems. Keep up the good work, Hakurai! Boop!

I would love to see another one of these including all the lore that continues on as you play BDO as I've tried to follow it but the game kinda does a poor job at really explaining it or playing it out in short cut scenes which are so few as it is. AWESOME JOB DUDE!!! :)

BDO seems to have tons of lore thats built into the world but the in-game story doesn't seem to tell us much about it.

Awesome video, but plague is pronounced play-Guh, not necessarily a GUH sound but a hard G at the end of play.
