I love that you’re basically taking “trash” (a ruined book,) and turning it into something so beautiful and personalized. Thank you for sharing this great idea!
I wonder if different shapes of dye cutters would help to get more intricate designs that are usually just too hard to cut with scissors in a fine detail. Thank you so much for sharing I love your idea and they're just beautiful when they're done
Thank you so much! I was wondering if there was a way 2 make the snowflakes like the paper bag 1s,with reg.sheets of paper, instead of bags,& I'm so glad 2 have found this & see how it can be done fairly easily,& w/beautiful results! You made something so much more unique & were so much more creative than the other similar craft videos. I think that is why they look so pretty on the thumbnail pic,& stood out 2 me/made me choose 2 watch this, instead of other vids in this category...I actually made a paper bag 1 from the 1st tutorial I saw & it was kinda confusing,so wish I had seen this b4 trying that 1. The girl was 2 vague & it was frustrating when I figured out 2 late that I used 2Xs more bags, since thru out the vid she said things that could & were easily misinterpreted,(like a few times the way she worded how she did certain steps,I thought she meant 2 do 1 thing when apparently she meant it another way)lol! Anyways, you are a good teacher & gave great instruction however & this was a pleasure to watch & fun to make. Thank u & hope u have a Merry Christmas!
love this! I have a ton of vintage paper backs I will give this a try. I see some other snow flakes in the picture wondering if you have some direction for thos also
I just did my first paper bag snowflakes and had such fun that I came to YT for more design ideas for them. Lo and behold, I found this video and said yay! because I have tons of old books and hymnals and am ready for something new to make with them. I just had to say thank you, and I'm also a new subscriber. Happy Holidays to you and yours.
Hey they really do have a nice look to them I'm going to try this and I will probably not succeed the first time but I'm going to keep going and thanks for the tip.....it really works😉
I love this project and how you explained it. you are a very good teacher! And Merry Christmas to you too!
