I planted tulips in February last year in a raised garden bed, due to late night shopping online. Tulips were on sale and they bloomed in May! This year I just ordered 225 more on sale today and they will be planted in February! 🌷🌷🌷
I wouldn't imagine it could work if your ground is so frozen that you can't plant them in January. I'm in Washington State, Western, it's...... well it's chilly up here but the ground isn't solidly frozen

I'm going to plant mine this weekend with my granddaughter😂😂
I did it too, they were beautiful. I used a good bulb food too.
My hubby got me 100 reduced daffs a few years ago. I planted them in the January. I think at least 80% of them flowered, if not more! Well worth it! 😊
Good stuff 😍
Inspired to pot some bulbs this week😅💕
Hopefully it’s not frozen where you are 😅
I have bulbs coming up already and wish I’d done more but hopefully these all do well and produce lovely displays. Happy gardening 🧑🌾, Ali ☔️🥶🇨🇦
That’s the problem no matter how many you plant you always wish you’d planted more 😂💪🏽
I planted some leftover bulbs of tulips and daffodils yesterday. Just in time, because today we got a snowstorm 😂
Awesome job! We got a little bit of snow but not enough for a snowman, much to my son’s disgust! 🤣
Im planting tomorrow, hope its not too late, bulbs have been stored in an outside, dark, unheated shed, is that good or bad for them?
Sara, Ireland.
Yeah they’ll be fine 🙌🏽😊
Well now I don’t feel bad that I planted a heap of bulbs just after the solstice.
You was early 🤣🤣👊🏽 they’ll look great 💪🏽
what about the frozen ground? I have a ton of bulbs but the ground has been rock hard since the beginning of December. very cold winter here this year
