I played with Pete in high school at Cathedral. This guy is a great football player and he was definitely our hardest hitter, will never forget the hit he made on me in practice lol, he almost knocked my helmet off. Great to see Pete progressing, wish the best for him.

This has me so hyped for year 3. Especially losing Kaden. Thinking Baun can also take a step forward and D'Marco can get on the field. Would love to get Dowell back and address LB in draft too. Maybe a vet in FA.
To speak more to what I like about Pete is he is sometimes unblocked but he still finishes tackles. That's huge. He's also hard to fool and doesn't over pursue often. He's also so quick to close when in coverage. Love this guy.
When you see him on the field you might think he can’t hit or finish tackles but, you’d be damn wrong. This guy is a bowling ball gliding through the line searching for pins and if he gets squarely in front of you, your about to take a smack and Pete finishes tackles with the best. Damn I can’t wait until game 1. Who Dat!!?

Werner is so smart, he pauses, watches then BOOM like a guided missile to the ball. When he tackles you go straight down AND he’s punching at the ball the whole time.
